This past week has been crazy!!!

On Monday, I saw Mr. & Mrs. Smith with resident single girl family ward-going gal pal, Jessie. Loved the flick! Loved Brad Pitt's pretty face and loved Angelia Jolie's wardrobe.

sinny

On Wednesday, I went to Cinevegas to see a coworker's short docu-film called "Uncle Rene." It was fantastic. It was so good. Like you couldn't tell that it was done by a film student. Saw a couple of celebs there: Matthew Lilliard and Adrian Grenier (from "Entourage").

pretty boys make pretty music

On Thursday, I went to Balcony Lights to see a band from San Diego called The Vision of a Dying World. I know, they sound so emo, right? Their sound is real acoustic and folky. There's a mandolin and an accordion involved, so you know it's good. And they're cute.

After that, I went to the Aristocrat to see Jared's band Sea And Land. Before them was a band from Salt Lake City called Passages. They were heavy, but not annoying. I really liked them. I ran into Jesse from 11k and he reminded me about their upcoming gig, so that's what I did Saturday night.

eleventhousand

I went to the ArtBar for the first time and saw another SLC band called Tolchock Trio. They put on a good show. Jesse introduced me to them and they're really nice. I only had $3, but I really wanted their cd, and they totally hooked me up. I didn't have to blow anyone, haha. 11k went on and it was nice to see them play since it's been many months since the last time. They ended their set with my favourite song "Lesson 13." Then a synth-y band called The Rodeo Boys went on. They're super goofy and a real good time, but it was late, so I said my goodbyes and went home.

Now, I can never tell if a guy is into me, or not. It's only because it rarely ever happens and when it does, I don't know what to do.

Jessie and I agree that this week has also been "flaky friend week." Her gal pal flaked out on her last minute when they were supposed to go dancing. Last minute like midnight. And I got flaked out on for friday night bowling in the form of a lame-ass myspace message. And yet again for ArtBar. So I went to the this bar (that I've never been to before) alone, but was thankfully saved by my heroes and Vegas' own Brits, Kris and Julian. So, a slot for a position as Nicole's 702 bff may be opening soon.
