Brilliant champions themselves, sires of champions, chosen by owners of Australian Champion mares, chosen by mare owners who just want to breed a beautiful riding horse with a great nature.  You can breed to imported sires, or recognise just how good our Australian bred horses are.  Two Cremello/Perlino horses have been exported from Australia: one the younger, unshown full brother of Days of Gold and now a cremello filly by Nights of Gold is being exported to Switzerland.  Congratulations to Glen Lomond Stud on the sale and export of Miss Hollywood Gold (photos below).

And introducing our new Cremello colt, Tintaras Chandra - registered Australian Stock Horse and UPWBDA (we intend to have him ACE and ANSA registered in the future as well as AQHA Foundation Sire registered for owners of Quarter Horse mares who want a touch of Thoroughbred elegance and a chance at perfect palomino coat colour).  Brought over from Tintaras Stud in Western Australia where the breeding focus is on producing perfectly conformed and beautifully moving horses of perfect palomino coat colour.  Chandra should mature to around 16 hands and is the ideal choice for those wanting to produce tall, elegant, big moving show, dressage or event horses of superb palomino coat colour - put your clean coated cherry red chestnut mares to him for magnificent palomino performance horses.  Bay, brown or black mares will have buckskin or palomino foals (these mares need to have a recessive chestnut gene in order to have palomino offspring). Where our Quarter Horse boys made Australia recognise the potential of the blue eyed blondes, this ASH boy is going to bring back the magnificence of the performance palominos.  Of course, Chandra will be campaigned himself and we expect great things of him at halter and later at dressage, but we are most excited about the prospect of producing a line of 'perfect coat coloured palominos' that will redefine the future of palominos in Australia - great conformation, lovely temperament, superb potential as performance horses and the ideal palomino colour preferred by palomino judges.  He will stand to a very limited number of approved mares with preference given to clean coated cherry-red chestnut Stud Book Thoroughbred/ASH mares over 16 hands.

About Us:  We have been competing on, training and breeding horses since the 1960s, using bloodlines that have been in our families for generations before that.  Until purchasing these double dilute Quarter Horses, our bloodlines were mainly Thoroughbred, Arabian and Warmblood (along with a variety of pony breeeds for our children).

We have competed in: showing, dressage, polocrosse, endurance, sporting horse, jumping, racing and other horse sports.

For the past 20 years we have been based on our farm in the Lockyer Valley and, before that, lived on one of the Owens family properties in outback Queensland (Longreach/Muttaburra area) where horses were used extensively for mustering, polocrosse and racing.

Please click the pages at the left of this to view more photos and information about our horses.
