A Little Pictorial Ditty About Our Town ...

Just a note ... Clicking on any link below will open a new page.
You need only to close that page to come back to this main page to continue the story.
Truly Hope You'll take the time to Enjoy

Now Here We Go ...

First & foremost, of course, is to get here ...   Which you can do so by airplane ... oops, no, wait, they were just passing through. But then there's always helicopter.
You can get here also by highway, railway, or even by back road. (Course depending on which way you're headed, you might have to come through Cheyenne. Which is ok coz Cheyenne is a pretty good place to be - especially the last week of July (Frontier Days).
Snow mobile is always a good choice in the winter & some have even dropped by on horse back.
Once here, we admit, some (citified) folk find it a bit confusing at first, but once spending a little time here and meeting a few of the locals they find themselves falling right in with the crowd. Some, possibly, even eventually coming into a supervisory role.
Don't think, though, that we haven't anything to offer ....
Heated outdoor plumbing ... ??
(Sorry, I have no idea how that picture got in there) ....
Well, anyway, ... there's sight seeing, hiking in the great outdoors, fishing, even mountain fishing (wonder what kind of mountain they're fishing for)
Look at that catch!
Then there's rodeo in the summer, horse back riding & pitching horseshoes in the yard.
Always a favorite is mingling with some of the other locals. And lets not forget taking care of new comers.
But at least, at the end of the day, when all work and play is done, we offer comforting outdoor dining where you can simply sit back, relax & see some of the most beautiful sites of the area ... Home.

Now meet a few of the locals ....
Here's Billy & Penny ... (ain't this sweet) ... Yeah, just don't piss her off Billy, that first step's a doosey.
Here's Billy doing his Public Service Announcement for what NOT to do on a Mountain & Penny waiting for him to make his way back up there .
Here's Billy negotiating with one of the other locals for use of the hay. We see (at least this time) who was the better negotiator.
Here's Penny again, bringing in the winter harvest ... (guess what it is).
Here's Sugar, the one horse, getting new shoes. (Not necessarily her best side, but what the hay, huh?) & here she is again taking Billy for a walk.
Here's a few of the 'seasonal residents' ... But there's always a few of the more permanent neighbors dropping by. (No pun intended on the droppings.)
Besides Sugar (the one horse, of course), near & dear to our hearts ... is Lady, guarding, (as you can see), a well used snow plow and DC (which, of course, is not Billy's cat ... really ... he'll swear to you). Oh, and by the way ... Lady's not Billy's Dog either ... uh huh.
There's been a few former residents, too, that were not only residents of Horse Creek, but of our hearts as well.
Simon (of course being him Simon self), Free (irritating Simon) & Brandi ... (predicting snow?).
Let's not forget either the attack cat ... this would be 'AC' verses 'DC' which we still have.
(See, you just assumed what DC stood for.) ....

& that, in a nut shell, (not to say that we're nuts) is the story of our little place in the world.

Below you'll find a few more miscellaneous pictures ......

More pictures of the Residents ...

Sugar ... getting a treat         Lady & DC ... Don't they look so innocent
Lady & DC ... looking guilty
DC seeing what he can get into & Lady being the look out         Lady & DC ... being guilty         Lady & DC wanting to get into their Christmas stockings
DC getting into his Christmas Stocking
Lady enjoying what DC got for Christmas & DC going back for more

By the way, the Christmas Stockings shown in the above pictures were supplied by, of course, Santa Claus
Ok, really Penny probably got 'em at the local Walmart, but it was the only way I could figure out how to get that picture in here.
& Don't look at me, I'm not brave enough to ask Billy if he used a pillow to help stuff the suit.
