Listed in the 1850 Federal Census Town of Lorraine, Jefferson Co New York, as idiotic [senile?] age 76.
Living with the Brown family, Walter R. & Nancy., ages 34 & 33.
Same page as his brother Israel’s son Levi and his family.

Note the name Willis is his grandmother’s maiden name.
I have not found any marriage or descendants for Willis.
I have not found him a head of any household.

The census before 1850 does not list given names. I do not know if this was Sarah and if these were her children.

Note the various spelling of the surname Macomber.

[Benjamin was Sarah Reed’s brother. Sarah was the mother of Sarah Horr]

[Two of Sarah Horr's brothers married Pierce woman in 1792 & 1793]

4. Elizabeth Macomber, married John Townsend Jr.
[Also married: 11 Mar 1784, Luke ELLIS whose parents were Joseph ELLIS & Martha TINKHAM]

5. Mary Macomber, married Daniel WEBSTER on Nov. 27, 1788.

6. Cyrus Macomber, married Sarah HOAR on Sept. 24, 1796
[Her family later used the spelling HORR]

7. Enoch Macomber, married Tabatha RAYMOND on Oct. 22, 1795.

(There is a Phebe McUmber, born abt 1781 in RI, in 1850 Census of Ellisburg, Jefferson Co, NY. Is this a child of Samuel Macomber and Phebe Pierce?)

(There is Cyrenius Macomber, of Manchester  NY, was born in Farmington NY on August 30 1817.  He married Caroline M. Harmon, by whom he has had four children.

By the census it appears they had one son and three daughters. Being the census is by male names only I can not be sure if the female was Sarah or if the children were their’s. I can not find a adult male in 1850 Lewis or Jefferson county NY that was in the right age group. I also can not find other Horr family members in the Denmark, Lewis Co NY census.

Is this their son? Born in 1802.
