“Augustus W. Hart, son of David, who came to Lorraine from Connecticut at an early day, was born in 1806. He married Joanna Horr, and they had nine children, of whom Vincent L. is a merchant in Watertown; Volney W. is a farmer in Watertown; Virgil C. is a Methodist minister, and has been missionary in China since 1865; Harriet (Mrs. Smith) lives in Cleveland, Minn.; all the other children are dead. In 1846 Augustus W. removed to Lewis County, and there resided eight years. He then settled in Watertown, dying in 1883. His wife died in 1881.”

Judge David W. Agnew granted Leona Horr, 28, a divorce from her husband George, 35. Monday in county court, upon the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. The three children affected by the divorce were given to the custody of the plaintiff. The court allowed $40 a month to the mother for the support of the children. The couple was married in this city June 23, 1917. They were separated in February, 1926. Mr Horr is a brakeman. Lillian Durant was sworn and testified as to the cruelty of the plaintiffs husband who did not contest the action.

Mrs. Nell Horr (nee Williams) died unexpectedly Friday [June 22, 1945] at the Retlaw hotel in Fond du lac. Her husband, Albert L. Horr, former president of the Vulcan Manufacturing Co., Fond du lac, died March 6, 1945. Mrs. Horr was born in Delafield and spent a great deal of her life in Waukesha. She had visited relatives here just a week ago. Surviving her are a son Fred C., three sisters, Mrs. A. J. Evert, Pewaukee, Mrs. H.J. Larsen, Crystal Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Stanley G. Boyd, two brothers, Percy R. Williams and Louis P. Williams both of Milwaukee. The late John R. Williams [Jr.] was also her brother. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm, the Clandisn funeral home, Fond do lac, will be in charge.

Mr. Horr was born in the State of New York, August 1st, 1807. He moved to Adams County Wisconsin in 18__ (62?blurry). The funeral was held at the residence of his daughter, Nov 2nd, Rev. V. H. Helms officiating. Lincoln News Column: Died, October 31st, Mr. Warren Horr, father of Mrs. Hiram Brigham, at his daughter's home, near Pilot Knob. The funeral was held Sunday. Elder Helms preached the funeral sermon. Mr. Horr has a son, Mr. Austin Horr, living nearby.
