Quality wrapped in Velvet

Sales Policy

We strive very hard to raise quality, good natured rabbits that are guaranteed to be in good health when they leave our farm. All of our bunnies are handled gently from the day they are born so that they are used to people. Netherland Dwarfs stay with us until they are 3 months old. This is to ensure that they are healthy and also allows us to choose our breeding and show stock.

We sell show quality, brood quality and pet quality. Show and brood quality will be accompanied by pedigrees.

We make every effort to differentiate between the bucks and does but on occasion we have been wrong. If you receive a rabbit from us that turns out to be the opposite of what we told you, we will do what we can to rectify the situation, either by replacing the animal or refunding your money.

1. A 50% deposit is required to hold a rabbit for 7 days, sometimes longer, depending on the situation. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel the sale. If the rabbit is not picked up by the agreed upon time and you have made arrangements with us, we will continue to hold the rabbit for a $5. per week holding fee, paid in advance, until you can pick up the rabbit. We accept PayPal, Postal Money Orders and Cash.
If you pay for the rabbit in full and the rabbit is not picked up at the agreed upon time, we will hold the rabbit for $5. per week ( to be paid when you pick up the rabbit) for a maximum of 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, the rabbit will go back up for sale and your payment is forfeited.

 2.  Should the occasion arise that one of our rabbits dies due to unforeseen health reasons within 7 days of leaving here, please contact us!! We do require a statement from a veterinarian stating what the problem was. The rabbit will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as we have one available. We will not replace rabbits that die due to animal attacks, abuse, neglect, weather conditions, rough handling, falls or for any other reason that is out of our control. Each rabbit that we sell will be accompanied by a care sheet that should be followed closely and enough food for a week so that your new friend can be gradually switched over to your feed.

 3. If for some reason, you find that you need to rehome your rabbit, by all means, please contact us. We are more than willing to help you. We do not do buybacks but we will take healthy rabbits back and try to find a suitable home for them. The rabbit must be healthy.

4. I will consider shipping but the buyer must make all the arrangements, pay all fees and I won't ship less than 2 rabbits. We might be able to make delivery arrangements for a fee within a reasonable distance..

5. We reserve the right to refuse any sale.

6. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time.
