Our Rabbitry is fairly small, we currently have 31 rabbits in our herd and 11 kits. We love all of our bunnies and strive to make them as comfortable as possible. Their cages are cleaned once a week or more often as needed. All of the Rexes and our Mini Lop have EZ Mats on the floor of their cages so that their feet don't get sore. They have toys to play with and wood to chew on. Once in a while we go into the mountains and collect pinecones for them to chew on. Each rabbit is fed fresh Pfau's pellets (produced locally) in the evening and fresh grass hay in the morning. Our lactating does and juniors get Calf Manna in the morning and everyone gets a little bit of rolled oats with flax seed as a treat once or twice a week. We also feed black oil sunflower seeds (when preparing for a show or to help with weight on some of our hard keepers) and dried papaya in small amounts several times a week. They each enjoy some turn out time several times a week and most enjoy being loved and petted.
