Faces of the Missing

How You Can Help

We feel that the problem of missing children & adults is one that's highly underestimated. Most people don't recognize this problem until it hits home-until one of their loved ones is lost. We can't stop this problem until we acknowledge it. Listed below are some ways you can help and some places you can visit to show your support. Please keep the missing in your prayers and stay safe! God Bless! Angel & B.G.

*VOLUNTEER- Volunteering is always a great thing. At the bottom of the pages of missing loved ones on this site, there's a link to their missing person poster. ( Remember how Elizabeth Smart was found? Someone recognized her from a photo they had viewed beforehand.) We ask that you go there and print off their poster and distribute them around your neighborhood. The more exposure the missing get, the more likely we can bring them home. Also, whenever you pass by a missing person/child's poster, don't just walk by-take the time to look at it.

*PROJECT JASON- An organization that we really think is great is Project Jason, established in honor of  Jason Jollowski. On here, you are able to 'Adopt a Missing Person' by wearing a button with their photo on it and sharing their story. It helps more then you know and by adopting a missing person, you give their family hope. You can find out more by going to www.projectjason.org

*PRAYERS & SUPPORT- Always remember that every prayer and kind word helps. Visit a missing loved ones website and sign their guestbooks with kind thoughts and words-it gives their family strength!

*KNOW WHAT TO DO- Knowing how to prevent being kidnapped is an important life-saving thing. The key to being safe is being aware of what to do if indeed someone thries to kidnap you. No matter how old you are, it's to you benefit to know what to do & how to protect yourself. Please got to 'Safety Tips & Links' for more information.

*You can help us by posting our banner (it's the one at the top of the page by the teddy bears) and placing it on your website if you have one. Also, we always appreciate it whenever you request a missing person to place on our website. You can contact us through our Guestbook or E-Mail: hope4lost@zoomshare.com
