Hope For The Addict, the alternative rock band from Carlisle in Cumbria, first took the stage in October 2005 and instantly won the support of the crowd with their laid back attitude and individuality. Olly, Joe, Ant ant Tom have been playing at various venues including the Appleby Rock Festival, where their storming set left fan’s screaming for more.

Since the beginning the band have been constantly gigging in and out of Cumbria and appeasing their fans with spunky new music and their endless amount of on stage energy. The atmosphere at many Hope For The Addict gigs is one of unlimited vitality and the end result is a sound that is both explosive and memorable for those around them.

Most of the band’s own songs derive from past experiences and misplaced memories creating an effect that can both sadden and yet enliven the soul. One thing is for sure that once the band leaves the stage you’re filled with a feeling that not only captivates your imagination but also keeps you rocking all night long.

Although Hope For The Addict are a band in their infancy they have managed to fill venue’s such as Wakefields own Snooty fox and the Tithe Barn in Carlisle and it is clear that the band’s rapid development is set to continue.
