I've been Home Educated since 2004, and I'm loving it!!!!I co-built this website to advertise the wonderful life that HE brings, you can learn at your own pace, when and where you want to! Life is my mentor, and I love the idea of learning without even knowing it! I have been to school, right up to year seven (first year of high school), been bullied all the way through due to me being slightly smarter than the other kids!! But they're not out there enjoying life, getting the most out of every second!! I am now an avid fan of the Blues, and am trying to learn the Harmonica! I have met Sugar Blue once before, what a talent and great guy!! I am also being tutored by a guy in the states called James Reeser. I try to be as active politically as possible. I feel I have a strong sense of justice and more importantly injustice in modern society! I also enjoy taking my 2.5meter square Traction Kite to the beach and catching the air. I am trying to learn to mountain board, so any tips are to be sent to home-ed-rocks@hotmail.co.uk!! I am very into Science and in particular Astronomy, Cosmology, Electronics, Robotics, and theoretical Physics. I hope to go onto University and do some wonderful things with complicated names!! Katy GilmartinHi, I'm Katy; I've been Home Educated since Sept 2005. I decided to build this with Earl because it's about time we E.O kids have a great website with tips for studying, experiments and life as an E.O kid. I'll tell you a bit about myself; most people would say that I’m a unique hippy!! I'm into natural healing, crystals, aromatherapy, herbs and running round the woods naked (not really, that's going a BIT too far!!). I'm a music freak and I’m always either playing an instrument or listening to music. I'm a real artsy-party (as I like to put it!) person and i’m always going into art shops for new materials. I also love my animals and would really like to start up a sanctuary for them. AND i'm into (this is the total opposite) maths, science and technology; i'm a gadget freak and love to go into my nearest 'Gadget Shop', that now pretty much wraps it up but I think that gives you a brief description!! To be honest I don't know what I want to do but i'm sure it'll come to me in time. I also believe that you need some quite time to think about things on your own and that you travel your own path and so you should have your OWN ideas about things, and not what other people think!!
