SENSE Project
Northumberland Wildlife Trust are now working on the SENSE project ( South East Northumberland Sustainable Environments) it will be working on seven key locations in the Blyth Valley and surrounding areas which are both important to local communities and which have good nature conservation potential. The project will provide oppurtunites for local residents to get more involved in the management of these sites through practical volunteering programs, free training courses, children's environmental education sessions and community events.
This is a great idea and Holywell Pond will benefit from this, as it does need some work done, email Heather O'Neill on heather.oneill@northwt.org.uk to share your ideas.
