Hello and welcome to my model railway site, Hollowspell Junction. Why Hollowspell Junction I hear you ask, well why not? The name Hollowspell comes from an area of Rochdale Lancashire, no doubt originally named from the folklore of the Lancashire Witches in the land of the Boggart and other mysterious things that go bump in the night.
However, I`ve never actually been to Hollowspell and I`m sure they have neither a junction nor a railway line and indeed never have, but the name is one I liked and as such one I have decided to use. OK.

Now about the railway. I`m a steam and green fan (its a generation thing), It is however many years since I was a railway modeller, in fact my last layout (which was in N Gauge, although I have modelled in HO/OO), was back in 1972 (ish)). Still I`m a born again Railway Modeller, ever since a trip to the Brookside Garden Centre at Hazel Grove, nr Manchester, last year, when my partner Karen noticed a layout learning against one of the stands, why dont you ask them if its for sale she said, I asked, it was for sale, it fit in to the car and she bought it for me, and that was it, I had become an additcted born again Railway Modeller (how sad)

Since the fateful day, I`ve modified the layout, so within you will find pre-Hollowspell Daze and post Hollowspell Daze.
This is also my first attempt at website design, so bear with me guys.
Special thanks also to my train mad mates, Rob, Alan, Deane, Dave, Andy and the late David Maxwell, much missed
