Or lack thereof

We all know that Ivan has is run-in with the most annoying things, people...or at least to him or at least to me, but they end up dead/damaged for life. But they are somewhat important to the story line, right?

Lizzie of the Rebel Angels:

She runs into Ivan as she was being transported to her execution. It took at least fifty people (kind of suspicious to me) to hunt her down. Lizzie inherited the group from her father and Chaco and the others have been friend figures to her. Unfortunately, like most annoying wannabe killer groups, The Rebel Angels met their demise by ignoring Ivan's balant warning of the zombies in the cargo hold. Lizzie was the only one who escaped a possible death barely thanks to Ivan. Lizzie is also infected with the zombie plague from St. Baldas. Another possible drawback for Lizzie is she looks identical to Gena, Ivan's sister. So, You can guess this leaves a really interesting relationship for a woman who is terrified of Ivan...but how can blame her, right?

The Twelve Apostles of Temozarela:

The twelve Apostles of Temozarela have only one thing in mind for Ivan: His destruction. Their personal goals is to apehese Temozarela so he can achieve his goal of the fall of humans. Each is located in twelve different spots all over New Mexico, and Ivan goes threw each town destroying the minions of the Apsoltes and the Apostles themselves. Part of Ivan's "chore" is to completly destory each and every holy point and those "tainted by his blood". He will eventually destory all of his followers.

Belial:

Belial was once known as Father Bethal. He worked as a witch hunter during the 1400's to condem those who were accused as witches. It is unknown if the accused were truly witches. Father Bethal was then introduced to Temozarela who was inhabiting the body of a knight from the cursades. Temozarela continued to challenge Bethal's faith and religion and going far as litterly saying he had came to "rape" God himself. But Bethal lost his faith as soon as he saw the boy he raised, Matthew dismembered a woman and used her blood to write out the pentiacle of Temozarela out in blood. Temozarela's plan backfired when Bethal announced that he would use his rage and anything/anyone nessecary to achieve revenge for making him fall from grace. Belial's warning to not open Domas Porada somehow didn't matter to a greif-stricken Ivan and thus he opened Domas Porada. Belial gave Ivan a second chance at life to have his revenge on Temozarela and his followers. Belial's real reason for having half of Ivan's soul is probally to have Ivan's body as a host, much like the same thing with Temozarela and the knight. Ivan and Belial remain distant, but Belial can reach Ivan's thoughts and can slighty control him or give him power in the form of rage when needed. If Ivan continues to become ingulfed in rage, Ivan may even loose his body and soul and Belial may even have a new body.

Federal Marshal Corbin and his gang:

The federal marshal was sent after the incidnet on the trail and to find out what happen to the 180 citzens of St. Baldas city. Corbin also has some other people with him who aid him. A Native American who knows the twelve points and posses much needed navigation, an African Amercian that has a purpose in the form of a body gaurd (or probally carry a large gun to scare the shit out of people), and a priest that also knows of Ivan's fate. The priest in volume four is seen with Piestro and he may have been the group of missionaries that helped with Temozarela's ressurection. As far as Corbin is concerned, he wants to question Ivan on the events of St Baldas and the train. Whatever the case may be, Lizzie is also the soul wittness to each events and can help pin point where Ivan is.
