Introducing Dwarf Hotot: no litters.....yet!
We are a small rabbitry located in Northern Indiana. What began in 2006, as a 4H project for our 9 year old daughter, has become a business for our entire family. We have a small rabbitry, approximately 70 holes, that produce quality show rabbits. Our entire family is involved in Holley's Hoppers, and we enjoy every aspect of the rabbitry.
Our rabbitry began with Mini Rex, then Holland Lops and Netherlands were added and finally our Silver Martens. In the summer of 2008, we gave up our Neterlands and replaced them with Dwarf Hotots. Breeding these rabbits have become our favorite part of the process. We breed for quality, but also for a variety of colors. We have a solid foundation stock that we started with that provides amazing fur, type and color. We would never intentionally mislead anyone, or sell a rabbit as show quality that would have any disqualifications. Should we have any rabbits that have disqualifications, we are more than happy to sell these as pets.
Please feel free to look around our website. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will answer any questions you have. If you have a request, please let us know what you are looking for. If we are not able to assist you on your request, we have other breeders that we work with that may be able to help. We are always breeding our rabbits, so check back often to see what we have in our nest boxes.
Our rabbitry is completely climate controlled, air in the summer and heat in the winter. The "Maternity Ward" is in our home, allowing us complete access to the newborns. We handle our rabbits daily, enabling us to sale not only quality rabbits, but ones that can be handled easily. This is especially important and essential for children learning about rabbits. Although ours may be "slightly spoiled", as we have been told, they have never had any problems adapting to life outside of this comfort. We enjoy and thrive in watching them grow and succeed on the show tables....
Thank you for visiting Holley '"s Hoppers. If we can be of assistance, please let us know.
