Dear Hogwarts Students,

This is, as you might have already guessed, Hogwarts, At Present. This is a website for Harry Potter fans to explore the meanings of Hogwarts and provide them with information to prepare them for their upcoming years. I introduce the four school houses, I give the supply lists (in case you've lost yours already), I briefly describe the school staff and the lessons they teach so that you'll be ready for them. I go over the activities you can participate in, such as Quidditch and the trips to Hogsmeade, as well as the exams, school rules, and detentions given. I set up a wizarding terms dictionary and spell book to refresh elder students memories and help all you Muggle-borns prepare for some of the common phrases used by witches and wizards. For your viewing pleasure, I included some news clippings from the Daily Prophet from several different years. So I think I've said my part. Au revoir, whatever that means. And some very useful advice for the future is do not take Potions unless you absolutely have to. Because with the all due respect (which isn't that much) to Professor Snape, he is an greasy git.
