10/8/09- Reds pitcher Aaron Harang signed my card in just under 6 months from the team's Florida Spring Training address.

10/3/09- Olympic sailing champion Anna Tunnicliffe signed my card in under two weeks from her home.

In addition, I went down to a Nationals Instructional League game vs. the Astros down in Kissimmee, FL today. I managed to get this year's #1 draft pick, Stephen Strasburg, to sign my Team USA card.



10/1/09- Nationals prospect J.P. Ramirez signed my card in just under four months from his minor league team.

9/28/09- Olympian Stephanie Brown-Trafton signed my card in about a month and a half from the US Track and Field team address.


9/26/09- Angels first-baseman Kendry Morales signed my card in two weeks from the team address.

9/25/09- Olympian Walton Glenn Eller signed my card in two weeks from his home address.


9/18/09- Former minor league sensation Ron Necciai signed my card in a week. Ex-Negro League player Frank Evans signed my card in a month from his home.

9/14/09- Professional cardstacker Bryan Berg signed my card in just over a month from his company.


9/11/09- Top Rays pitching prospect Matt Moore signed in three months from his team address.

8/24/09- Angels draft pick Wes Hatton signed in about a month from his team address.


8/21/09- Three more to report. Future White Sox starting catcher Tyler Flowers and new Blue Jays prospect Zach Stewart signed in a week each. Olympic fencing Gold Medalist Mariel Zagunis signed in two weeks from the US Fencing Association.

8/17/09- Four in today. They include Royals pitching prospect Danny Gutierrez, Cubs Korean hitting prospect Hak-Ju Lee, recent Brewers draft pick Cameron Garfield, and video-game champion Steve Wiebe.

8/14/09- Two more to report. Son of Mark and current Diamondbacks pitching prospect Kevin Eichhorn signed in about two weeks from his minor league team. Champion sheep-shearer Loren Opstedahl signed from his home in two weeks as well.

8/13/09- Padres pitching prospect Adys Portillo signed in just under two months from his team address.

8/12/09- Blue Jays pitching prospect Andrew Liebel signed my card in almost 3 months from his team address.

8/8/09- Negro Leaguer Willie Williams signed in 9 days from his home address. I gave him $5.

8/7/09- Two more A&G signed cards in today. Negro Leaguer Clyde Parris and Olympian cyclist Kristin Armstrong signed in 8 days each from their homes.

8/6/09- Last year's A&G codebreaker, Jason Wong, signed his 09 A&G card in a week from his home.

8/5/09- Recently traded prospect Scott Barnes signed in under a week from his new minor league team.

8/4/09- Negro Leaguer Herb 'Briefcase' Simpson signed my card in under a week from his home. His return marks my 1st 2009 A&G success.

8/2/09- Injured Angels prospect Mason Tobin signed in just over two weeks from his rehab at the Angels ST facility.

7/31/09- Former Cardinals and Giants catcher Mike Matheny signed in two weeks from his home address.

7/27/09- Another top prospect, Royals pitcher Mike Montgomery, signed in about 5 months from Spring Training.


7/25/09- Top Tigers pitching prospect Cody Satterwhite signed my card in just over a month.

7/24/09- Current A's closer and 2009 All-Star Andrew Bailey signed my card in 10 days from the team address.

7/23/09- Big day today. Prospects Alex Liddi, Robbie Ross, and Michael Ynoa all signed cards in 9 days each from their team addresses.

7/16/09- Pitching prospect Stephen Fife signed my card in a month from his team address.


7/13/09- Another prospect in today. Cubs pitching prospect Jay Jackson signed in just under three weeks

7/11/09- One prospect in today. Twins '08 draft pick Shooter Hunt signed my card in about a month from his team.


7/6/09- Two prospects in to start off the week. Reds prospect Juan Carlos Sulbaran signed in under two weeks from Dayton, while Angels pitching prospect Trevor Reckling signed in just over two weeks from his AA team.

7/3/09- Another two prospects in the mail. Mariners top 10 prospect Michael Pineda signed from his team in two weeks, and Red Sox prospect Bryan Price signed in just under three weeks.

7/2/09- Top Astros pitching prospect Jordan Lyles signed my card in just over two months from the team address.

6/30/09- Pirates pitching prospect Jeff Sues signed in just under two weeks from his team address.

6/29/09- Two prospects in today's mail. Indians prospect Cord Phelps signed in two weeks from his team, and Rockies top prospect Wilin Rosario signed in just over three weeks from his team.

6/27/09- Current Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu signed my card in just over a week from the team address.


6/24/09- Phillies top pitching prospect Jason Knapp signed my card from his team in just over a week.

6/23/09- Twins top outfield prospect Angel Morales signed my card in about two months from his minor league team today.

6/22/09- Two more quality prospects in today. Dodgers pitching prospect Josh Lindblom signed my card in about a week from his AA team. Angels pitcher Anthony Ortega signed my card in just under three weeks from his AAA team.

6/19/09- Current Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston signed my card in about four months from the Blue Jays' Spring Training address.

6/16/09- Former WBC player and current prospect Alex Liddi signed my card in about two weeks. Unfortunately the signature was smeared almost completely off, and was not worth scanning. I am sending this card and another copy back to the player in hopes I can get a better signature.

6/15/09- Two prospects in today. Rockies pitcher Esmil Rogers signed in just under two weeks from his team address. Padres prospect Blake Tekotte signed in about two weeks from his team.

6/13/09- Former Yankees great Scott Brosius signed my card with a donation to Linfield College in 6 months from the college.


6/12/09- Philadelphia prospect Anthony Gose signed my card in 8 days from his minor league team.

6/11/09- Not much to report lately. Giants prospect Ehire Adrianza became my first 09 Bowman success, in a week from his Low A team.

6/1/09- Decent start to the month. Red Sox prospect Kyle Weiland signed my card in about two weeks from his team address. Retired Yankees legend Bob Cerv signed my card in two weeks with a $5 fee.

5/30/09- Slow month for returns. Padres prospect Jaff Decker signed in about two weeks from his team address.


5/11/09- Two interesting returns in today. Former Phillies star Willie Montanez signed in a month from his home in Puerto Rico. Current Mets player Daniel Murphy signed my card in about three months from Spring Training. Murphy has not signed TTM until now, but other members of sites such as SportsGraphing and SportsCollectors.net are reporting similar successes today.

5/9/09- Sad news to report. Legendary Red Sox player and the last of the DiMaggio brothers, Dom DiMaggio, passed away yesterday at the age of 92. I had previously received Mr. DiMaggio TTM, with his fee that went to players who did not have MLB pensions. RIP.



5/8/09- Rangers top pitching prospect Martin Perez signed my card in just about three weeks from his AA team. For whatever reason he signs last name first, something a member of SportsGraphing.com pointed out a few days ago.

5/7/09- Another two to report. Rays catching prospect Jake Jefferies signed in 10 days from his minor league team, and Rockies prospect Charlie Blackmon signed in two weeks from his team.

5/6/09- Three returns in today, all from the minors. Yankees prospect David Adams and Braves prospect Craig Kimbrel both signed in 9 days from their team. Astros prospect Ross Seaton signed in two weeks from his team as well.

5/5/09- Been out of town for a bit, had two minor league returns waiting. Orioles top prospect Brian Matusz signed my card in about 2 1/2 months from Orioles ST, and Nationals catching prospect Derek Norris signed my card in a couple of weeks from his team.

4/27/09- Yankees relief pitcher Phil Coke signed my card in about two weeks from the Yankees team address. Baseball HOF broadcaster and former player Joe Garagiola signed my card and added his own in about two weeks from his home address, with his fee of $10.

4/25/09- Harrisburg Senators manager and former big league catcher John Stearns signed my card in 10 days from his team address. New BB HOF sportswriter Nick Peters, due for induction this summer, signed my card in about three weeks care of the Baseball HOF.

4/24/09- Padres top prospect Allan Dykstra signed my card in 9 days from his minor league team.


4/20/09- Two returns today. Top prospect Lonnie Chisenhall signed my card in 5 days from his minor league team. Hall of Fame sportswriter Rick Hummel signed my card in about two weeks from his newspaper.

4/18/09- Hall of Fame legend Ernie Banks signed my card in a little more than a week, with no fee.

4/17/09- Hall of Fame broadcaster for the Royals Denny Matthews signed my card in just over a week.


4/14/09- Two returns in today. HOF sportswriter Charley Feeney was a partial success in a week, although he signed an envelope instead of my provided card. Royals first-baseman Kila Ka'aihue signed my card in 54 days from the Royals ST address as well.

4/13/09- Even more sad news to report this week, in the wake of the Adenhart tragedy. Legendary Phillies announcer Harry Kalas, a member of the Hall of Fame, passed away today at 73 due to heart failure. In addition, former Tigers All-Star pitcher Mark 'The Bird' Fidrych died tragically at the age of 54. He was killed in a farming accident.

4/10/09- Nice return today. Top Mariners pitching prospect and former Georgia closer Joshua Fields signed my card in a month from Spring Training.

4/9/09- Very sad and unexpected news to report today. As you have almost certainly heard, Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart died from injuries suffered in a horrible crash last night. He was only 22. It's certainly a weird feeling, especially since Nick was only a year younger than myself. Three years ago, during Spring Training 2006, I was able to get Nick to sign a card for me when he was still relatively unknown. I have posted the scan of that autograph below. RIP.

4/6/09-
One more ST return on Opening Day. White Sox starting pitcher Clayton Richard signed my card in 45 days from the White Sox camp in Arizona.

4/4/09-
With Spring Training ending this weekend, three more returns from several camps, all in 43 days each: German Duran (Rangers), Dwayne Murphy (Blue Jays-Coach), and Skip Schumaker (Cardinals).

4/2/09
- A good mailday for the middle of the week. Rangers prospect Tim Murphy and Yankees outfielder Xavier Nady both signed from their respective Spring Training camps. Former MVP and multiple All-Star Juan Gonzalez signed my card in three weeks from his Puerto Rico home.

3/30/09-
Two in today from Spring Training. Indians DH/1B Travis Hafner signed my card after many attempts in the past. Giants top prospect and fellow Seminole Buster Posey signed in about a month.

3/28/09-
Back from Orlando, I had a few things waiting for me. New Athletics shortstop Orlando Cabrera signed in two weeks from Spring Training. Another return from Cardinals top prospect Clayton Mortensen, sent to him late last season in Memphis. Lastly, legendary Hollywood actress Lauren Bacall signed my Hollywood postcard in just under three weeks.

3/24/09-
Sad news to report. Hall of Fame third-baseman George Kell passed away today at the age of 86. One of the best signers among living Hall of Fame members, Mr. Kell was a favorite of autograph collectors. Below I have posted a scan of the signature I received of him in the mail. RIP.



3/23/09-
Great mail day today. Three in from Spring Training: Royals draft pick Tim Melville signed in a week, White Sox infielder Alexei Ramirez signed in two weeks, and Indians relief pitcher Hector Rondon signed in a month.

3/21/09-
Not much mail in awhile. Two in today from Spring Training: Rangers draft pick Justin Smoak in about three weeks, and Braves coach Glenn Hubbard in about a month.

3/13/09-
White Sox top draft pick Gordon Beckham signed my card in about two weeks from the team ST address.

3/11/09-
Current Giants prospect and former UCLA infielder Brandon Crawford signed my card in over a year from his college.

3/10/09-
Cubs '08 top pick Andrew Cashner signed my card in two weeks from ST camp.

3/9/09-
Three more in from Spring Training. Jason Castro (Astros), Anthony Hewitt (Phillies), Daniel Schlereth (Diamondbacks). Then two from college teams, Seth Frankoff (UNC-Wilmington) and Kendal Volz (Baylor).

3/6/09-
Yankees prospect Garrison Lassiter signed two cards from his home address in about a month and a half.

3/5/09-
Rice pitcher Ryan Berry signed my card in two weeks from the school address.

3/4/09-
Two more successes in today. Mike Gonzalez and Brandon Hicks both signed in two weeks each from Braves ST camp.

3/2/09-
Plenty of mail to start off March. Three more Spring Training returns: Brett Hunter (Athletics), Masahide Kobayashi (Indians), and Sergio Romo (Giants). Two in from college: Joe Kelly (UC Riverside), Mike Minor (Vanderbilt). Finally, I received back my 08 Allen & Ginter card signed by Olympic champion Bonnie Blair, after a wait of 217 days.

2/28/09-
A few more in today to end this month. Two from Spring Training: Welington Castillo (Cubs) and Chad Qualls (Diamondbacks). The star of the original 'Psycho', Vera Miles, signed my Hollywood postcard in a month from her home. That gives me four autographs on it so far.

2/27/09-
Another four for me today. Three again from Spring training: Jason Motte (Cardinals), Wilkin Ramirez (Tigers), and Carlos Santana (Indians). Negro League star Norman Lumpkin signed my card and added his own in just over a week from his home.

2/26/09-
Four more in today. Three from Spring Training: Kevin Jepsen (Angels), Carlos Rosa (Royals), and Brad Ziegler (A's). I also received my card back signed by Mariners prospect Dennis Raben in a month.

2/25/09-
My first two Spring Training successes for 2009 arrived today. Cardinals pitching prospect Clayton Mortensen and Orioles Japanese import Koji Uehara each signed in 6 days from their respective teams.

2/20/09-
Rockies top prospect Christian Friedrich signed my card in just about a month from his home address.

2/9/09-
Current MLB Network analyst and ex-All-Star relief pitcher Mitch Williams signed my card in just over two weeks from the network address.

2/7/09-
Blue Jays relief pitcher Jeremy Accardo signed in two weeks from his home address.

Red Sox 2008 draft pick Tim Federowicz, out of UNC, signed my card in a week.

Blue Jays 2008 draft pick Kenny Wilson signed my card and added a signed typed letter in a week.

Two more 2008 draft picks in today. Jordan Danks and Logan Schafer signed in 7 and 10 days respectively.

A nice surprise today. Hall of Fame pitcher Don Sutton signed my card in 17 days from his home address.

Two to report. Mets recent draft pick Eric Campbell signed my card in 11 days from his home. World billiards champion Mark Selby signed in about a month from his address in Great Britain.

1/24/09-
Another good day today, although it took a week. Tigers top prospect Rick Porcello and Royals 2nd pick Johnny Giavotella signed in 7 and 8 days respectively from their home addresses. Legendary actress
Eva Marie Saint, who starred in such great films as 'North by Northwest' and 'On The Waterfront', signed in 8 days from her Hollywood address.

1/17/09-
One in today, but it's a good one. Former Blue Jays and Yankees multiple All-Star pitcher Jimmy Key. Only recently, this tough signer has changed his ways and has now started to sign with a very quick return time. Mine only took 5 days.

1/12/09-
The results for the 2009 Baseball Hall of Fame voting were announced today. Not surprisingly, Rickey Henderson was inducted with 95% of the vote. However, Jim Rice snuck into the HOF today with 76.4% of the vote (he needed 75%). This was Rice's last year on the regular ballot before he would have had to move to the Veterans' Committee voting rolls. Below I have posted my autographs of both Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice. This gives me 202 HOFer autographs now.

One more return to finish my best week in months. American rugby player Todd Clever signed my 08 Allen & Ginter card in about two months from his team in California.

1/9/09-
Former star pitcher Dave Goltz signed in a bit under three weeks, while former Hollywood actress and singer Doris Day became the second Hollywood legend to sign my Hollywood Postcard project, in about a month and a half.

1/8/09-
Two former All-Stars from the 1990s, Darrin Fletcher and Dan Plesac, signed my cards in just over two weeks each.

1/7/09-
Another former All-Star pitcher, Bob Shaw, signed in just over two weeks.

1/6/09-
Former All-Star pitcher Woodie Fryman signed in about two weeks from his home address.

1/2/09-
First successes of the new year. Former All-Star pitcher Stan Williams signed in just under two weeks. Comedian and Yankee fan Billy Crystal signed his first baseball card in about 5 months from his company.
