"ON YOUR MARKS" is a fun raising event organised by Asda Lorry Drivers to raise money for Childrens Cancer Hospice`s.

Performance Car Clubs are then invited to help raise money by asking their members to donate their time and cars for fast passenger rides (£5 a lap) around Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome.

The GTR Owners Club has actively taken part for the last 5 years and in 2007 our drivers raised just over £1200. That equated to one car leaving the pits every minute through the day.

With 21 members of the Club driving their cars there was plenty of time to do other things, Go-Carting being the best fun. Unfortunately for the blokes Giles misses Suzy turned up and beat us all. 

As usual Christopher came with me again (you need a haircut) and was great company there and back even through he did insist on playing his crappy CD`s. 

A special thankyou has to go to our members who turned up and collected the money, took photographs and marshalled the pit area. We couldn`t have done it without you all.
