MAY 2005.
After another great trackday at Belgiums Spa-Francorchamps F1 circuit which saw 25 GTR`s on track 11of us stayed over in Spa so that we could enjoy a day at the Nurburgring.
After a hearty breakfast Marc was nominated to lead the way as he was the only one with Sat Nav. We set off at a steady pace as the Ring wasn`t opening until 1pm.

Most people decided to do 3 laps. This seems to be a sensible amount for an afternoon as the track will often be closed due to the many accidents that happen. The cars are very capable of drawing their own admirers and the first question that any owner will be asked is "how much horsepower".
OCT 2005.
Myself (R33Vspec 400bhp), Iain (R33Vspec 530bhp), Robbie (R34VspecII 650bhp) and Neil (R34Vspec 750bhp) spent the weekend playing in our cars with Saturday at Spa followed by Sunday at the Ring. After our previous trip earlier in the year i had bought a TOM TOM GO to help find our way around Belgium and Germany. On Sunday the Ring was opening at 10am so we were in the hotel restaurant for breakfast before the chef arrived for work. We quickly downed our coffee and danish pastry`s and set off in our small convoy. The roads were very quite and the journey was completed with a quick petrol stop in just under an hour.
Due to global warming it was looking like a glorious day was ahead of us. We bought our tickets and went out on track with myself driving point. By the time we arrived at the bridge at Breidscheid Iain and Robbie were right up my ass, so doing the polite thing i eased over to let them by.
After 3 laps i called it a day and went with my father to Brunnchen to take some pictures.
