This car was imported into the UK in 1999. I purchased it in November 2002.

It was basically a standard GTR except for an incorrect set of wheels and an HKS Super Dragger Exhaust system and Decat Pipe.

After about 3 months i fitted an HKS Twin Induction Kit, HKS front exhaust pipes. Abbey Motorsport fitted some candy blue engine covers to give the car a little bling. The car was also Dyno`d and had 305bhp and 265lbs ft torque at the hubs (375bhp at the fly). Later that year an oil cooler was fitted.

In June 2003 the car was shown at the Plymouth Motorshow on Westcom`s stand.

At the beginning of 2005 i bought some R34 Turbo`s and once again returned to Abbey Motorsport to have them fitted. Whilst there some spacers would be fitted to correct the offset of the wheels. For safety reasons we never managed to do this so some Ultra Lites wheels were bought instead.

After a brief discussion with Dan (Abbeys engine mapper) it was decided that i would also fit an HKS Fcons piggy back ECU and a Boost Controller. After the mapping session the cars power figures were 325bhp and 325lbs ft torque at the hubs. The R34 Turbos were great, very responsive, spooling up from 2100rpm and full boost at 3k.

AND THAT WAS AS FAR AS I WAS GOING TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then in August 2006 the Nur engine came up for sale and after about 5 secs of deliberation i decided to buy it. The plan was to fit it mid 2007.

But within 4 days i had a buyer for my standard engine so things had to start happening fast. Fortunately i was working very close to Rising Sun Performance in Hampshire and after chatting to Richard Bell (owner) it was decided that the engine swap would be done in 3 weeks time.

With the money from selling my old engine and a few other bits i decide to add all the neccesary pieces to run the engine at its safe maximum output of 1.4 bar boost.

The engine swap was finished and the car was driven straight to Abbey Motorsport for Dan to do his magic.

The results were 436bhp and 400lbs ft torque at the hubs. ( approx 506bhp at the flywheel )

The engine all fitted and ready to go.
