Madison Wisconsin- Madison is a pretty cool college town and the people and the cops are pretty chill for the most part. i wouldnt reccomend drinking on the street there cause you can do some pretty serious jail time for public drunkeness and open containers, especially if your underage. Most of the kids hang out on state street and peace park. you can use the internet for free at the student hall which is right on the lake. Theres also a free meal 4 days a week at the catholic church on campus. theres a couple decent camping spots on campus and by the lake

(from crimethinc.net)... if you're hitching on the 80-94 expressway in NorthWest Indiana go to MIchigan City east till you hit highway 421 and go south 1/4 mile. There is a gas station/ truck stop called Krazy D's that my pal works at. ...The cameras aren't checked!!! Also you can hitch up with one of the many thousands of truckers that buy gas there every day, since 80-94 is a major cross country highway
