Anime Description: Hikari no Kurisutaru is about a 16 demon girl named Amaya Yabi. Her life was turned up side down when her aunt (Aibi) and a army of demons went to kill her family. A few years after that, Amaya finds her way down to the Human world to look for her older bother.

To try and fit in better in the human world, she in roles herself in to a high school. A little after she in rolled, her aunt tries to attack her and tells her to get her the crystal. Amaya didn't have a clue what she was talking about. When Aibi can't find it, she disappears in anger. Amaya finds out later that the crystal she wanted was the one that has the family's powers but she though it was with her mother when she died.

Still looking for her brother and her aunt, she meets a boy (Ichi) who she finds out later is a half demon. She first meets him at school but pays no mind to him. When she was fighting another one of Aibi's minions, she was almost over powered by them. Ichi then comes to her rescue. She was shock to see someone helping her but she wasn't mad about it. Later finding out that they have a lot in common, they promised to help each other get their revenge on those who killed there families.

Next, Amaya meets Ruisu. When Ruisu is told by yet another one of Aibi's minions that Amaya was out to kill his family, he attacks her. When Amaya finally got the chance to tell him that her aunt lied to him, he asked to help. She didn't like him but thought his powers would be useful. Later she warms up to him and he acts more like a brother to her. Amaya also meets Iwa around the same time. They first meet when he comes up to her one day at school, saying that he loved her. Thinking of him as just another weak idiot, punches him and walks off. When he was walking home he noticed Amaya in the woods. He went over to her and saw a demon. When Iwa jumped in front of Amaya, she was mad at first but then notice a blue aura start to glow from him. Before she could stop him and attacks the demon. Think that maybe she could finally get rend of him without having to dirty her hands, she sat back and watch him get killed. To her dismay, he actually killed the demon with what looked like a blasted of energy shaped like a arrow.

Now teamed up with Ichi, Ruisu, and Iwa, Amaya fights Aibi and her demon army. They also search for the crystal before Aibi can get it and destroy both the demon and human world.
