Welcome to the home of Hitmonchan Chinese Cresteds. My affix derived from my youngest son's infatuation with Pokemon many years ago.
My fascination for this beautiful breed started 13 years ago when my parents Irene and Cyril Griffiths of the well known FAWNCREST affix bought their first true hairless girl Lacey Lou At Fawncrest.
We believe in line breeding to type, and breed for temperament, size and soundness, qualities which are a must for both the showring and much loved pets. The results of our line breeding are very evident in the strong family resemblance shared by all our adults and puppies. Our lines are derived from years of experienced breedings and breeders.
I owned and showed boys for 5-6 years, Fawncrest Chewit my beautiful powder puff boy and Fawncrest Renegade my handsome hairless boy who gained his RCC and Stud Book number, between the two of them they gained over 30 Best Of Breeds, 28 Best Puppy In Breeds, numerous Group wins and placings, numerous Championship Show wins and placings.I learnt everything I possibly could about our lines and the history of the breed before even considering to start my own breeding programme.
All our crested kids are KC/BVA (Cerf) eye tested, Glucoama eye tested and Optigen DNA blood draw tested for PRA.
