Welcome to the home of Hitmonchan Chinese Cresteds.
My affix derived from my youngest son's infatuation with Pokemon many years ago.
My fascination for this beautiful breed started 18 years ago when my parents bought their first true hairless girl Lacey Lou At Fawncrest.
I believe in line breeding to type, and breed for temperament, size and soundness, qualities which are a must for both the showring and much loved companions. The results of my line breeding are very evident in the strong family resemblance shared by all my adults and puppies. My lines are derived from years of experienced breedings and breeders.
My Chinese Cresteds are a huge part of my family, they are companions first and showing is merely a hobby. I am a current member of the Chinese Crested Dog Club, my membership with the club extends back well over six years. I am not a big breeding kennel, I only ever breed to keep a puppy to show. I only breed from dogs with good temperaments, who are KC/BVA eye tested, Glucoama eye tested and Optigen DNA blood draw tested for PRA (or Clear by Parentage). My dogs are Microchipped for ID.
I show selectively all over the UK, and have the best interest of the breed at heart.
I believe in putting something back into the breed by my Committee work.
For the past five years I have produced, edited and printed The Chinese Crested Dog Club Yearbook, Newsletter and Members Handbook.
I am also webmaster to the Chinese Crested Dog Club Website and Health Site.
