History of Magic in the Making

From ancient Egypt to the Celtic Druids, there are many forms of magic in our world today. Every form of magic has its own sets of gods, goddesses, beliefs, legends, and of course History.  In this class you'll take a deeper look at how magic in its many forms came to be; Welcome to the History of Magic, in the Making.

First I’d like to inform you of my open class enrolment policy. You are free to add or drop this class as you deem fit. If you realize later in the term you may need an extra quill you will be able to add this class with the understanding that you will have own assignments based on 20 questions from the lessons already covered by the other, and those lessons must be completed within two weeks of your first day in class.  If at any time you feel that you should not take this class, or realize that you have too much work to do in other courses, feel free to send me an owl about your departure. If I do not receive an owl from you letting me know you dropped this course, I WILL FAIL YOU FROM THIS CLASS. I do not have time to individually make sure that all students are doing their lessons as planned. I will not ask questions about you dropping the class but I’d like the notification.

Now, as far as grading goes, RP is 50% of your final grade, the assignments (given when needed) are 30% of your final grade, and the Final exam is 20% of your final grade. The final exam is based off of three parts. The first part is a multiple choice, question and answer test of 20 questions. The second part consists of a small essay as to what you feel you have learned in the class, and the final part of the exam consists of a short RP with the professor demonstrating your character's understanding of what was learned in class.
