7th Grade Medieval World History Course Information
World History is a year long course required by the state of California for all 7th graders.
Texts Required Text: World History: Mediveal to Early Modern Times by Holt, Rinehart & Winston Supplemental Materials:History Atlas of the Worldby Rand McNally, Answer Atlasby Rand McNally, Atlas of World Historyby Nystrom, and TCI (Teacher's Curriculum Institute/History Alive!)
Supplies for students: All students need to bring the following items to my class every day.:
Your history folder
Your textbook (if required and it's usually not)
Your regular school binder & planner
Whatever assignment is due that day
At least 2 pencils & at least 2 pens (No pens in red, silver, gold, glitter, light colors or white.)
Lose leaf paper for their binder
Lead, if they have a mechanical pencil
An eraser
Colored Pencils
Tutoring: Tutoring is done any day after school until 3:00 pm, except Friday. Just notify me ahead of time.

In order to better understand the various countries the students will be studying this year, as well as how people interact with their environment, we will be doing some basic review of geographic terms as well as studying the Five Themes of Geogrpahy: Location, Place, Interaction, Movement and Region.
