"The Public Be Damned" A Thematic and Multiple Intelligences Approach to Teaching the Gilded Age

This is an interpersonal approach to understanding the effect of industrialism on a variety of ethnic family units during the Gilded Age. The family profiles were taken from the 1884 Illinois Bureau of Labor Statistics study, which detailed the economic status and living environments of numerous laborers in Chicago, Illinois.
