Installation of Fonts on a PC

Windows XP

Download Fonts and save to a folder (say KVGFonts) on your desktop

Transfer that folder (KVGFonts) to your PC using removable Disk (Floppy/USB)

Open Control Panel (Start Button >> Control Panel)
 


 

From the Control panel (shown below) open Fonts folder (double click)
 

 

Open KVGFonts Folder.

Re-arrange in such way that both windows (Fonts and KVGFonts) are visible to you

Now select all three fonts (Kalapi, Vijaya and Gurjari) then drag and drop to Fonts folder.
 

 

you will be able to see the installation process like below
 


it will finish in fractions of a second and you may not be able to see the process if your computer is so fast.

 

You can see the fonts are installed in your machine checking Fonts folder

Another Standard Method: (Applicable to All versions of Windows operating systems on a PC)

 

Open Fonts folder from control panel.

Choose "Install New Font..." from "Files" Menu.
 


Select proper Drive and Folder.

It will show all the fonts into that folder.

Clicking on "Select All" button will select all the fonts in the "List of Fonts" in to that folder. (You can select your choice of fonts holding Control key down and clicking on font names in the list).

Make sure that "Copy fonts to Fonts folder" is checked.

Now Click on "OK" Button will install fonts to your system
