We have a lovely 3 acre lifestyle block in Birdwood Road, the rural side of Massey. Our love of miniature horses (and collection) began in 2001 when we purchase our first filly, Birdwoods Silver Twist (Monet) and a little pinto foal Riverhills Toy Renegade (Buddy). As my daughter Jessica got involved in the show scene, we added a little 32" gelding named Westforks TCs Kung Fu Cowboy (Troy) who excelled in all activity classes and gave Jess alot of fun and a bundle of ribbons and club awards. (sold on) We have since purchased two more fillys, ie Tippennys Apples Arrow and Sherwoods Yankees Crystal Doll, both proving themselves amongst tough Auckland competition.
Our aim is to always show with integrity and to enjoy our little horses both in the show ring and at home. Our goal is to "breed quality not quantity" and we will do this by selective breeding and generally for our own purpose. BUT if someone catches your eye, feel free to ask :o)
