Welcome to the Hill House Antiques and Collectibles website. Our shop is ten miles northwest of historic Jamestown, New York. Located in the southwest corner of New York State near the shores of scenic Chautauqua Lake, we're also just minutes away from the famous Chautauqua Institution and eighteen miles from the Lily Dale Assembly spiritualist community.

We offer a wide variety of unique and fine quality items, from Victorian antique furniture to mid-century collectibles, curios and ephemera...all at fair prices. New items are added weekly. We pay cash for many types of antiques. Please call or e-mail us if you have something old to sell or consign. Some of the items we are currently seeking to buy include vintage fishing and hunting items, Chautauqua-related antiquities, nauticals, and furniture (pre-mid-century). Dealers are always welcome! We are open for business on the weekends, noon-5pm; and during the week by chance or appointment only. Canadian $ accepted at par.

Our store inventory includes antique furniture, 78 RPM records, antiquarian books, bric-a-brac, porcelain, milk glass, art glass, carnival glass, brassware, clocks, vintage jewelry and dolls, Norman Rockwell collectable items, memorabilia, and many other little temptations. We currently have a large assortment of smalls but are looking to expand our inventory to include more antique furniture. New items are added to the shop regularly.

We welcome consignments of antiques at an agreed-upon fair market value. Prices on merchandise are held firm for 60 days. Thereafter, prices will be reduced as follows: 15% after 60 days, and 10% every 30 days thereafter. Merchandise remains the consignor's until sold. The consignor may take back merchandise at any time during the consignment period, however items not picked up within one week of consignment cancellation will be subject to storage charges. After 6 months unsold items must be picked up by the consignor, unless consignor and Hill House Antiques both agree to extend the consignment period. (Please note: Unsold items not picked up within one week after consignment period expires become the property of Hill House Antiques.) Consignment split: 55% to consignors/45% to Hill House Antiques. We mail cheques and statements on the 7th of each month for items sold during the previous month. Delivery and pick-up of the merchandise to and from our shop are the responsibility of the consignor.

Directions

Take I-86 (Southern Tier Expressway) to Exit 8 (NY 394 - Mayville/Lakewood) and follow Route 394 towards Mayville. We are located just 1.8 miles up the road and on the left, directly across the highway from the Pine Hill Motel sign.

From Buffalo and upstate New York, take I-90 (New York State Thruway) west to Exit 60 and then turn left on Portage Street (Route 394). Continue to follow Route 394 for 15 miles. We are on the right, directly across the highway from the Pine Hill Motel sign.
