13th Dec, Hillendale Donikian competed in his first official EA dressage tests. He was entered for the young horse class, and a preliminary level test. But the organisers rang to say the YH class was not being run. So made the instant decision to try him in the novice class. In his first test which was the 1B we had a few hiccups including losing a shoe and scored over 59% & 4th place, then in the Novice 2B he was working well (minus shoe) and came in 3rd place with a fantastic score of 61.818%. One judge had him in 1st place. So we are very happy with this boys first official outing. Below pictures taken from Novice class.
1st Dec, CONGRATULATIONS to Emily Murray, on the birth of a bay colt who will be named "Lone Piper", Piper to his friends. Piper is from a mare i bred "Florida", who is also the dam of Hillendale Donikian. Shown here at 6 days, with Christine.
4th Nov, Leuka has arrived home, and is now having a well earned rest for a couple of weeks before being put back under saddle.
19th Oct, Leuka has been with our breaker for a couple of weeks, and I went for a visit to see how he is going.
As you can see he is looking very elegant under saddle, and has a lovely expressive canter. Please go to Leuka's page to view more photos.
22nd Aug, 2 chestnut mares found on road between Strathalbyn & Wistow. I notified all authorities as well as many websites, radio stations, veterinary centres. Finally on 26th August the 2 mares were claimed and returned to their home.
18th August, Hillendale congratulates Alice of Romley Sports horses, on her beautiful filly "Romley Leucillia" sired by Jaybee Leuwis.

28th June, Leuveli has moved to his new home in Mornington Peninsula, Vic.
8th June, Adalis Sydney has returned to her home at Romley Sport Horses ~ Meningie.
6th June, Leuveli is being weaned & is now living with Leuka & Donikian. All has gone well. I have taken some video footage of them together. This can be seen on Leuka's page.

23 May 2009. Leuwis moved to his new home in South East, South Australia. I am sure we will see him out in the very near future competing in young rider dressage classes.
6 May 2009. Recently I passed by SES Basic Rescue course, this article was in the 2 local newspapers. Donikian will be used for The Mounted Landsearch team, as well as competing in dressage.

19th April, Leuveli, Sydney & Donikian attended the AWHA Gala Day... with great success. 
Hillendale Leuveli placed 1st Colt born after Dec 08, and went on to win Champion Colt Foal.
Hillendale Donikian placed 2nd & 3rd in his led classes, and went on to win the Ridden WID Gelding with a difficult elementary level workout.
12th April 2009, Leuwis competed in elementary and scored 60.85%, 3rd place. The horses that placed above him were also competing in the medium dressage class, so was very happy with his placing and how he performed on the day.
4th April 2009, Leuwis's first competition as a gelding, & he went CHAMPION RIDDEN WARMBLOOD,
and also placed 2nd in the led WB Gelding.
28th February, KD ~ sfz Grand Kadenza, left for her new home in Victoria. It will be great to see her out competing very soon.
8th January 2009 - Hillendale Leuveli is born.
27th November, We had a brilliant day wherein a friend came with her fancy camera and photographed some of our horses.
18th October, George has arrived home from the breakers. (Away just under 4 weeks). He is absolutely fantastic to ride, he is listening to all the aids correctly and is doing some lovely transitions. It wont take much to get him out into the competition arena.
11th October, George has been at the breakers almost 3 weeks, and he is going just stunning. We will bring him home next weekend.
20th September, Florida left for her new home at Prospect Hill.
