CityFest

CityFest is a yearly arts and crafts festival held in Hillcrest, a neighborhood of

San Diego California. The first festival was a celebration of the re-lighting of the

Hillcrest sign at University Ave and Fifth Ave, and turned into an annual event held

on the second Sunday in August. Attracting over 100,000 people to the neighborhood

in one day each year, our mile-long venue stretches along Fifth Avenue, from

University Ave to Upas Street, near Balboa Park. Tons of vendors, two music

stages, a beer garden, day-long give-aways, and this year's newest addition, the

Hillcrest Book Fair, make this an event not to be missed!
