Our son has gone to college so we're slimming down our numbers......most of our prices have been reduced and many are still negotiable!!!!

We are located in Gunnison, Colorado, a rural town in the southwestern part of the state, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.  We pride ourselves on raising our horses in a natural setting at an elevation of approximately 7,800 feet.  Our mares foal in a pasture that is adjacent to our roping arena....so our colts get used to the noice and activity of the arena right away.  Once the foals are about a month & a half old, we turn our broodmares out on higher mountain pasture with our yearlings and two year olds.  The feed is plentiful and our mares, foals and other young horses thrive on this terrain filled with sagebrush, blue spruce and aspen.  We believe that this exposure helps our horses become accustomed to all types of environments.

Over the years, we've been lucky enough to have many outstanding mares and stallions.  Our current stallion, TO BE ANNOUNCED, is by the champion Splash Bac out of a Merganser mare.  Our horses are bred for a combination of speed, athletic ability and cow sense. The foals we raise are halter broke, have their feet picked up and are handled extensively before being turned out on mountain pasture.  Our breeding program has produced many horses being used in the arena for team roping and barrel racing, on the ranch, and on the track.
