WELCOME
Sheffield Hiking Dykes is a lesbian walking group, set up in 1991. We have a walk of between 6 and 12 miles approximately every 2-3 weeks, mostly in The Peak District. In summer we do short evening walks which end in the pub for a meal. Occasionally we organise weekends trips. For an up to date list of walks, see the walks page.

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day. Some of the walks are rocky and rough underfoot and/or climb quite high onto exposed areas so wear suitable footwear and bring waterproofs and something warm to put on when we stop for a break. Some walks may have a short cut for which you would need your own map.

You do not need to join to come on a walk but if you wish to receive the walks via email or for details of how to get a paper copy use the contact page. New members always welcome!
