Story: Originally named Vaka, I changed Astarte’s name upon her evolution. Apparently Astarte was the goddess of fertility and reproduction (o.O) which wasn’t the intended association… I just liked the name! I’ve gotta say, I think Houndoom’s my one of my top pokemon, along with Arcanine, and I’m so happy to finally have one!
Aelethil Dwin’arnith ♂

Ribbons: The June Ribbon
Story: One of my first Pokemon, Loren finally evolved and
lost his bitter nature with it. Calm and collected, Aelethil is proving himself
to be a wonderful battler, successfully using his Extremespeed to get himself
out of dangerous situations. The second member of my team to evolve, Ael will
see a lot of battles, mainly cos Arcanine is my favouritist Pokemon. ^_^
Sayuri ♂

Story: The third member of my first team, Sayuri’s name is
Japanese for ‘Small Lily’, which I presumably thought was adorable at the time.
I think it suits his cutesy nature now though, and his favourite activity is
sleeping, so it’s quite appropriate.

Thorn ♀ **

Story: Thorn has finally evolved! Hurrah! And I decided to make her shiny too, and to change her name. Rosurade is a pretty damn awesome pokemon, really.
Thorn has participated in the first round of the Grand Festival 2007, and is currently battling side by side with Drew's Blastoise, Leviathan.
Pixie ♂ **

Story: Pixie is first of my Pokemon team to actually be
bought. He is my second shiny Pokemon, and the only one on my team to have a
specific reason for his name.
Drew bought me Pixie, and then I bought him from the trading
tower, for a point.
Lady Nocturne the White ♀ **

Story: Lady Nocturne was a gift to me from my good friend
Drew. And he christened her with this wonderful name, and made her white!

Lady Nocturne has yet to battle, but I have invented a
special arena just for Dark types to fight in, which will be perfect for her!
Rufus Valerius ♂ **

Story: I’ve always wanted a Sandshrew and the red-spiked
Sandslash look so cool! I needed a good Ground type too, and there’s always the
addition of the wonderful Slash move!
Rufus means ‘red-haired’ and Valerius means ‘brave warrior’
in Latin, which is what Sandslash will be.
His name comes from Classics, one of the Romans I studied,
and I’d always liked it.
Yay! I finally evolved Rufus! :D
Thom Yorke ♂ **

Story: Thom is the second shiny Pokemon I got
out of an egg, which is pretty cool!
Thom rhymes with Aipom! Hee! Yeah, his name stems from my
obsession with Radiohead, and their lead singer, Thom Yorke. If you want a loose reason, Thom dances, and it could be
said that he dances like a monkey. O.o And hurrah! I finally got him evolved! It's possible he's the first Ambipom in ASB, which is quite funky.
Thom won the June Pokemon Contest, along with Aelethil;
winning me the ribbon and entry into the Grand Festival. ^_^
Sirius Black ♂

Story: I got Sirius in an egg
which was a present from Ace64 on the Summer Christmas Tree! He wanted me to
get a Psychic type, but I got Sirius instead! ^__^ I was very happy about this,
as I’ve always wanted a Sneasel; and Sirius is the first of my Harry Potter
Pokemon group.
As soon as my battle with Dark Sage is finished, I think I'm going to evolve Sirius. Then I've only got Aipom and Feebas left! Not counting all the new pokles, of course... ¬_¬

Story: ZOMG I evolved Wednesday!! I never thought I'd see the day, heh. Since she won her battle with Mystic Clown quite spectacularly, and I got lots of points on the Summer tree, I figured why not! Name change = I just finished The Horse Whisperer. The horsie was called Pilgrim, which I think is an awesome name. : )

Story: I traded away Theo... *shame shame* BUT instead, now I have a SHINY Absol! His name is Vincent, cos, well, he has red horns an shiz. Shit reason, I know. Shh! So yes, as of yet, he's not had any battles, even though Theo just whupped Faiz's Absol's arse! Haha! XDD

she might be a girl, but she’s STILL named after Sirius, cos it’s cute. I can’t

Story: Well, I finally, FINALLY evolved Asnine! AND gave her a better name! Famfrit is the water Esper from FFXII, I think. As far as I can remember, he's the one for Aquarius, so I presume he's the water one. Anyway. I looove Milotic! And whee! A usable water type!! Although she DID beat Chris' Feebas as a Feebas, which was quite cool. I'm looking forward to using her in battle. : D

Story: Oh my god! I bought a Tropius!! They learn Fly! How
fucking bizarre is THAT!? But hey, they’re cute! AND they have bananas for
beards. Which is, frankly, ace.
She’s called Arith cos I’d just finished reading an Anne
McCaffrey book, and one of the Queen dragons in there was called Arith, and
it’s a nice name, so there.
Quetzalxochitl // Zalxo ♀

Story: Well, this is a long story… I bought an egg, a shitty
Mineral egg, I think it was. I was really hoping for something good, but NO, I
got a frigging shitty fighting type-whose-name-I-forget-at-this-moment-in-time.
SO, I trade it with Blade, for an identical pokemon, only female, which I then
trade with River for my lovely Zalxo! I looove her! And she's bloody brilliant in battle, I tells you.
Her name is Aztec, as only the Aztecs can have THAT many q’s
and z’s and x’s in their names. I think it means queen. Which is pretty cool.

Story: YAY! I evolved Holmy! And changed his name, now that he's getting more and more like the island colossus. Pelagia is the name of the 12th Colossus, and I think it's an ace name! It does sound slightly girly, but never mind. Now I'm not sure whether I need to get a new lot of exp for Pelagia to evolve further. I think it's highly likely, you know.

Story: Hyperness gave me this Swablu on the tree! Yaaaaay! Now I have a flyer, AND I'll have an Altaria eventually! I've always wanted an Altaria.
His name is that of an angel of the wind, which is appropriate for a pokemon with clouds as wings. ^_^

Story: Negrek bought me a wonder egg on the tree and it hatched into a Rhyhorn! How a Rhyhorn can fit into an egg is beyond me, lol, but yay! I really quite like Rhyhorns, actually, and since I traded Armaldo away, now I have a rock type to replace him with! :D
His name, Demetrius, means "lover of the earth".
