Welcoming new members

                                     Please read:

We are a newly formed 4-H club that is striving to make the best better.  This is our fifth  year and currently have several members in our club who all have great interest in not just showing dairy cattle but also different activities that the 4-H offers.  You can see each of these activities along with pictures of what the members are participating in.  If you live in Newport County and are very  interested in becoming an active member and are willing to commit please fill out the Contact Us page.  Space is limited on a first come first serve.  At current we are concentrating on working on our dairy animals.  Parent involvement in our club is a must for the whole family fun!

Slogan: Learn by doing       Motto: To make the best better

The 4-H emblem is the four-leaf clover with an "H" on each leaf. The "H" on each leaf stands for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health- this is the foundation of all 4-H programs.

What the 4-H's stand for:
Head- clearer thinking and decision making. Knowledge useful throughout life.
Heart-greater loyalty, strong personal values, positive concept, concern for others.
Hands- larger service, workforce preparedness, useful skills, science, and technology literacy.
Health-better living, healthy lifestyles.

4-H Pledge:
     I pledge:
My Head to clear a thinking,
     My Heart to greater loyalty,
     My Hands to larger service,
My Health to better living for my club, my community, my country, and my world.

4-H is a non-profit organization. All proceeds go to the club towards equipment for the members to show their dairy animals at the up coming shows this summer.
