Q : I am interested in buying a puppy from you , what should i do now?
A : firstly we would make telephone contact, after a lengthy chat about what you want and what we want for our babies , you will then be invited to come and meet us, we will show you our dogs and bitches and puppies from previous litters, we expect nothing but the best for our baies and we will insist on a home check and vet reference. We make no apologies for these rules we expect no less. Then if a litter is planned we will inform you when they are born and what sex and colours we have , you will then be invited to view at 10 days , a small deposit non refundable is taken at first viewing if you still decide to proceed and we are happy with the home you are offering, then weekly visits are expected from you till leaving us at 10 weeks, we vaccinate and microchip all our puppies and you will be expected to sign a contract on collection of puppy, regular updates to us on puppies progress throughout its life.
Q: An italian greyhound is just a mini whippet really?
A: No! they may be similar in appearence but have very different characters, the italian is far more fragile then a whippet , also a lot more excitable with an air of aloofness making them more difficult to train in many ways, known for being difficult to housetrain and not reliable on recall, they are not untrainable just need much more time and energy put into the continuing of training. A breed not for a novice owner , many many hours of research is needed just to make the first steps towards italian ownership, never underestimate what an italian thinks it can do!
Q: I would like to come and meet your dogs?
A: Well give us a ring and come see us! We also love to see vistors and offer as much advice as we can give, the kettle is always on and dogs are ready for cuddles
Q: I bought a dog from you and now my circumstances have changed, what should i do?
A: We will offer support and advice the whole lifetime of the dog, if you are unable to keep the dog then we will take the dog back and try to rehome him/her for you making it as least distressing as possible for you, if you wish to rehome the dog yourself then we do insist you inform us of the new owners contact details so we can maintain lifetime contact, we are only a phone call away.
