Biggest weekend in BKRS History
Memorial day weekend will be the biggest race weekend ever held during the short life of the BKRS. The weekend will start May 24 at Hurley Speedway with the 1st annual TERRY HIERS MEMORIAL RACE presented by Trackside Karting. About 2 years ago the Hiers family lost a member of its family, Terry Hiers. The members of BKRS thought it would be a great idea to honor Terry by holding a memorial race in his name. Trackside Karting has stepped up to the plate once again and will provide trophies for this event. There will also be some special additions to this race. We will run dash races to set the line-up for the main event. We will also have a raffle throughout the day giving away parts. Each paying owner will receive 5 tickets for the raffle when they pay their entry fee.
On May 25, the Dawg Pound will host the Memorial Day Bash presented by Southern Customs. Southern Customs has been a great sponsor in 2008, and once again will provide trophies for this race. This race will also honor two members of the Hiers family,
