The Theories [1]

White is the color of the devil, and black is the color of the holy trinity. Why? Because the devil used to be an angel, and his name was Lucifer. Lucifer means light. And if the devil's color is white, then God's must be black, because they are opposing sides, opposites. Darkness and light. Although, according to me, their titles are kinda in reverse. Also, I was reading Memnoch the Devil, and apparently black is the color of the Holy Land, so yeah.

The Theories [2]

People do not remember being babies because it was such an unimportant time in life. As it is, most people forget the trivial things that happen evreyday, like what color the bike was of the kid that passed you on the sidewalk, and how many buses you've seen while outside. This is why some people remember farther back than others, because they remember more of the unimportant things. But most people retain only the important things. Like what homework you got from which class, and what your friend said to you at lunch. This is why you remember how to eat, sleep, walk, talk, and all that stuff that you learned as a baby, but not the specific details of how it hapened. Think of it as a conversation. You are talking about something, and you suddenly find yourself on a completely different topic. You have no clue how you got there, but you are there. You don't remember the transition because it was not that important, but you remember the main topics of discussion. It's the same thing with being a baby. You remember the main parts of it, but the things that do not matter as much, leave your mind, and make room for more important things.

The Theories [3]

Yin & Yang does not exist. Seriously, I do not believe in the "good cannot exist without evil and vise versa!" That means that there has to be good and bad in every situation. I just don't believe that. For one thing, evil spelt backwards, is live (try it, I dare you). That can be taken in many ways. I chose to take it that no matter what, there will always be evil. Even when there is no good. Thereby canceling out the yin & yang theory. Which really is just a theory, therefore, it is not fact, which means that people can challenge its authority.

The Theories [4]

Feelings are like security guards. You can push past one, and you can run from it, and chances are that you won't get caught, but that doesn't mean that the security guard just disappears. He/she is still there. Same with emotions. And, if you push past too many, and you just run from them, those security guards will eventually catch up with you, because you will either get too tired, or they will just be able to outrun you. You just can't run forever.

The Theories [5]

Life is fragile. It can be completely destroyed in an instant. Overdosing on drugs, cancer, famine, disease, bleeding to death, guns, knives, and so on. Almost anything can destroy it. Even going out for a calming drive is a risk to your life. Almost nothing can save you if you get too sick, or you lose to much blood, or if you fall off a 100ft. building.

The Theories [6]

It is better to be emo than to hide all of your emotions. If you hide all of your emotions you are being like a robot. Nobody wants to be friends with a robot! Their laugh would be all fake, you'd never know if they actually liked your ideas, you could never turn to them for advice, etc. It would be ten times better to have an emo friend! Then you would know when they really did find something funny, you would know if they liked your ideas or not, you could turn to them for advice and they would tell you what they actually thought, not what you wanted to hear.

The Theories [7]

People do not appreciate beauty as they should. So many people out there, when looking for a girlfriend/boyfriend, only consider looks. That is not really what matters. You have to have people with beautiful personalities. You cannot find someone whose body is gorgeous and love them if they have an ugly soul, but no one seems to understand that. They do not see the beauty in the rain, they only see it as a gloomy day. They do not see the beauty in the sunshine, they only see it as a hot day. They do not appreciate the snow covering everything, they only see it as freezing cold. There is so much beauty in everything, it's just that no one takes the time to notice it, so it goes without notice.

The Theories [8]

Acts of kindness are often taken the wrong way. People think that you are trying to get something from them, so they don't fully appreciate your kindness. They don't just accept that someone is doing something for them. They go by the saying that "everything has a price". Not everything has a price.

The Theories [9]

We are all equal. According to the government. We're also "fighting for equality." According to the government. I think that's bull. Yes, we are all equal. That is a fact that I will not deny, because I do believe that we were created equal, because we are all descended from Adam and Eve. [according to Christianity and Judaism and maybe others? so i'm sorry if that offended you] And I'm not trying to say here that we aren't equal. What I am trying to say is that the government, and other people who say that we are "fighting for equality" are full of it. They aren't fighting for equality. They're fighting for the betterment of the minorities. That's not necessarily a bad thing. But when that bettering starts to make all of us not equal, it's wrong.

Native Americans have more fishing rights than whites, blacks, Hispanics, and Asians. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, because the US government did sign treaties that the Native Americans could hunt and fish as much as they liked on their reservations. But they made it an issue of equality. It was ruled that they could have more fishing and hunting rights, because of the treaties. [Minnesota v. Mille Lacs Band of Chippewa Indians] I agree with that decision, but not when it's based off of equality. Because that is not equal.

And if we were all equal, when we applied for a college it would be our GPA, our test scores [ACT & SAT & what not], our attendance record, and whether or not we have had any trouble with the law. They would not look at race or gender. So when the Supreme Court rules that it is ok for colleges to use race as a factor in the accepting of students [Grutter v. Bollinger], they're creating inequality. I don’t give a damn if you have purple skin, if your test scores and GPA are lower than the white person sitting next to you, it should be the white guy who gets accepted, and vise versa. But the government says that they want diversity in their schools, so it is a good thing to look at race as well as test scores. That's not equal. It is giving any person of a minority race an advantage, just for being born of that minority. Do you remember learning about the Civil War in school? What was the attitude of the whites in the south? Oh yeah, it was that they were superior because they were born white. Why am I seeing similarities between this and the fact that colleges are now more likely to accept anyone of a minority race than someone of European decent? And they all say that it's the white people who are so racist. I'm not saying that whites should be superior. So don't tell me that I am. I'm trying to say, that because they are trying to "make things equal," they are giving people of a minority the advantage. And that is not equal. So much for equal opportunity.
