Bad News..&Good News!

Hello hello, everyone. I have some good and bad news. I'll start with the bad news and then tell you the good news. ;]

Bad News I am closing Hidden Skies Awards! The reason for this is because I have some sites I need to work on/finish, and I need to focus on those as well as keeping up my grades, and maintaining a social life. Also, there is another reason, but that'll be explained in the Good News part. Confused, aren't you? (; Anyways, I know this site hasn't had a lot of seasons so far and stuff, but it was so fun running this site, and maybe I'll decide to come back, just maybe. But there's a really small percentage of coming back!

Good News I am now a co web at Spotlight Awards! Spotlight Awards is owned by a really good friend of mine, Danielle. You may know her from Infatuation and Euphoria. I hope you guys go there and nominate, cause it's an awesome site and I think Daniella will appreciate the visits and stuff, knowing that her site is actually getting viewed. (:

Awards Finally Up, Results, Etc.

Hey hey hey! (: I know you all will be proud of me because I finally made the awards and put them up! You can find the awards by going to Winners > Season Two. Please only take the award that has your site name on it. If you take someone else's it just wouldn't make sense, you know? ;]

I also put up a new page called Results. There, you can see the results of each season and find out how many votes you got per category. Now you don't have have to wonder, if you do. Currently, the results for Seaons 2 are up. I do not have Season 1, because I don't have the vote counts anymore and stuff. The only way you can access this page is by clicking this link: Results Page!

Anddd, I still don't know if I'll have a third season. I most likely will, but I really hate counting up all the votes at the end. It just takes SO much effort and work, and I really want to know an easier way to count it all. So, If you have any ideas, please email me! Thanks. <3

Sorry for Lack of Updates, Awards, etc.

Hey everyone! I am very very very sorry that I haven't updated anything at all, let alone put up the awards! A few of you have been asking me when the awards will be up, and I really don't know, but I'm hoping they'll be up by the end of the weekend. But, we'll never know cause I always say I want to get these things done but I never do and like put it off/forget about it/or am doing something else so I have no time. Also, I'm kind of spending a lot of time on MySpace and the Official JB Fanclub/Team Jonas along with these chats I keep having with them. So ever since March 25th, I've been busy or lazy, and I have lots of homework lately too, since I never seem to finish it at school.. But eh. I've also had a few things come up that I had to take care of, and I have been working on something.. ;] So, that's why I haven't been that site active really.. I am so sorry! I hope to be more active from here on out, and I'll probably be ehre over the summer more.

So basically, that's it. I just felt I needed to explain myself. Thanks for being eally patient with me guys! Also, visit my design site? (:

Hey all! So I know it's been like a week since I closed voting and what not, but I'm sorry I haven't gotten up the awards yet. I haven't even counted the votes yet! Yeah, I know, I'm somewhat lazy/a procrastanator but I promise they'll be up by the end of this month! =D

Besides that, I added one regular affiliate. It is See You Again Awards. So check her site out, the link is on the Affiliates page. I will be nominating my personal site at SYA AWards too, so keep an eye out when voting starts. ;)

Voting Closed, Awards Coming Soon, Last Season?!

What's up everyone? If you can tell by the update name, voting is now closed. If you try and vote, I will just delete your form! Sorry, I have 25 voting forms and I feel that that is enough to tally.

Since I have a long weekend, I will try and make the awards sometime this weekend and hopefully have them posted up by Sunday/Monday. If not, then I'll post them sometime next week!

Also, this may be the last season of Hidden Skies Awards. I'm not quite sure yet, but we'll see. The main reason if I do close this is because I have started a new award site with my friend Jasmine from One in a Million. It is called Hollywood Awards and the link will be up sometime soon. (Sorry if I already posted the info about this) So yeah.. But I will keep you posted if I decide to close this site or not! Because it doesn't really make sense to me if I keep 2 awards site open, when they are both the same type of site, just with a different name, layout, rules and categories. So yeah, don't be surprisde if I do close this site, aiight? :) Peace and Love!!

When voting for Hidden Skies' Choice it is YOUR choice. The site that wins will be based on how many wins it got overall, and how many people voted for that site in that one category. Hey everyone! I'm going to start off with saying I have added the last 2 new nominees for this season, and updated the whole nominees page. I'm going to go through all the sites nominated right now to make sure none of them are on hiatus, etc. before I put up the voting form and such. But I am not accpeting nominations! Voting will start sometime later today, I promise! I will also be switching the link buttons on the side bar, for you to change if you'd like.

Hey guys! So I'm happy to say that I got 3 new nominees today when I woke up and came on my computer. :) I just finished adding them, so here they are.

Okay, so today as of right now, there is one new nominee.

Then I updated the nomination form with the new categories I added for this season since I completely spaced on doing that before. So if you wanted to nominate your site/yourself for Best Webmiss (Girl), Best Webmaster (Guy) and/or Best Site then you can now. If you've already nomianted but wanted to nominate your site for one of those categories you have to re-nominate but only for those 3 categories, so you don't have to check mark all the other categories you've already nominated for, okay? (:

So that's all, I updated the side bar with new nominees, and I update and refresh that box at the end of everyday, so the list won't be super long with all the nominees. In case your wondering. So, yeah. I may make more updates but there really isn't much to update about. I'll check the tagboard and my email though, so yeah.

Hey everyone! So, today as of now, I added one new nominee. It is Gwen at Eleated Designs.

I've updated the affiliate application form because the form is now used for both this site and Bubbple Pop Electric, so that explains the new spot added to the affie application form, in cause your wondering. If your already an affialite you do not need to re apply!

Also, if you haven't been keeping up with the edits in the past updates, I have changed the rules so make sure to go and check that out before you nominate. If you've nomianted already you do not to re-nominate, but you should go read the rules anyway, just in case.

Hm, I think that's all actually... Season 2 of Hidden Skies Awards (HSA)

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to the second season of Hidden Skies Awards. I know it's been almost a month since I closed the site down to work on the new season, but after that whole month I finally got ideas for a new layout. I made it, and I think it turned out rather good. I used imagemapping this time and did it myself, so I'm proud of myself, lol. I hope you like it, it features Taylor Swift if you didn't notice already. I think I may put up a tagboard so you guys can communicate with me easier, but if you need any questions answered or if it's something important please email me. I changed a few things around but not much, and edited a few things here and there. I updated the rules so deffinately check those out. I'm going to be a bit more stricter on the rules so that people will actually follow them this time, and I'm going to try and organize this season better than last season. I also added categories and took one out.

I basically went over all the pages and re-did them or edited them. The awards for season one are up as well, if you haven't gotten them already. So, yeah. Remember if you need anything or whatever, leave it in the tagboard OR email me! (: I hope you enjoy this season.
