There has been quite a bit of confusion/false info about how we started so here's what really happened(at least as much as I could remember):
Once upon a time, there was a land called US: OBERON, and many people roamed about this far and distant place, one peticular loser, by the name of Slade had just created a new character in this clan because his friend had brutally forced him too(well, maybe not "brutally forced"). so his full name was actually HM}Slade, but this did not stand for hidden midgets my friends, oh no, this had a completely diffrent meaning(Heavens Mercenaries pfft...). Anyways, Slade grew stronger and manged avoid the annoying hackers. One of Slade's most memorable memories(yes, i meant to say that) was when he met a bum, this was not any bum however, this was The Bum(I think his name was actually The PSO Bum at the time though.). Slade was just looking for random people when he stumbled upon a lobby, and bum was going on about, well, bums. He told of how bums hated hobos, and how he had stole a tv and a generator and so on and so forth. Well, this greatly interested Slade, so he started to talk to bum and they became friends. At one time, Bum asked about the HM} in front of Slade's name. Slade laughed and said "My friend made me put it there to promote his clan, but they're all on the gamecube version. It stands for Heavens Mercenaries." and Bum replied "Oh...if it meant Hidden Midgets I'd join." A few days later, Bum and Slade were bored, so they decided to make new characters, the original plan was to make both exactly alike, and have them be Midget A and Midget B, there were no plans to make it a big group or clan. Slade, the dumb S.O.B that he is, forgot to write down the head number, body color, etc. that his character had. So they decided to just make completly diffrent characters. They were still slightly related however, because Slade's character was all white like and looked like a good guy, and Bum's was all black and looked kinda like an evil dude...(This next part I can't remember so well...)So anyways, after a while we figured we'd have more midgets cause C joined(Umm, I think I knew him as Glasseater at the time). Well then more and more came in, most of them were Bum's friends. Finally we got big enough that I made this website, and the forums of course, and we occupied our own little lobby/block. EU: Titan 13-9 was the place(as you can see below). And from there on we just grew and grew, (I think we got to around Midget T). Well, after our peak, people kinda quit playing, only a few people still played regularly, and I'm sad to say that I wasn't one of them. And then...they announced that PSO was going down :'( So down PSO went and a lot of members just kinda quit on us...but we live on now a group without a game lol, but the forums are still here, and we've kind of just spread out. But one day hopefully the right game will come along, and most of us can be reunited, but until then, there's always the forums : )
