+The Story+
Full Moon wo Sagashite(Searching for the Full Moon)is about a 12 year old girl, Mitsuki Kouyama who's dream was to become a singer because she loved to sing and because she made a promise to her childhood love, Eichi Sakurei, that they'll meet again and will achieve their dreams(Eichi wanted to be an astronomer). But that dream had bad chances of ever becoming a reality beacause Mitsuki's grandmother hated music, but mostly it was because Mistuki had throat cancer and if the cancer was removed there was a chance for Mitsuki to die or be never able to sing or speak. Then one day, two shinigami(grim) Takuto and Meroko came through her wall. Mitsuki could see them which was strange since humans can't see shinigami. Anyways, the shinigami accidently gave away that Mitsuki had only one year left to live. That made Mitsuke even more determined on becoming a singer. One of the shinigami, Takuto, wanted to help Mitsuke and gave her a drop of his blood that gave her the power to transform into a healthy 16 year old at will.In the series you'll watch Mitsuki and her friends learn the meaning of life and the life before that, each in their own way....
