Caring for your bunny is an important part of owning a bunny. They need a quarter cup of food pellets in the morning and night and a cup vegetables daily. One table spoon of fruit is also important for them. They enjoy lots of love and like to be played with. If bunny makes you mad don't get mad at bunny it will make him dislike you and he won't understand anyway why you are punishing him so there is no reason to do so. Make sure to intraduce vegetables and fruits slowly by feeding him a bit of just one thing and see if it effects him. Suggested foods are Vegetables like lettuce, carrot tops, the occasional carrot and parsley. Fruits are Apple and blue berries. For more food choices look on google or yahoo. Be careful what you feed them it could give them gas or worse if you feed them the wrong things. Brush your bunny daily. Bathe them when they start to smell. Remember to check them over when you get a bunny to see if it is the bunny you want. You can tell that a bunny is a good one to buy if he is not afraid of you and looks well fed and healthy. Check the poo in the cage and see if it looks like bunny diarea. If it is that is a bad sign. Normal poo is round and not flat or wet nor is it clumped together. Ask how old the bunny is because it is important NOT to buy a bunny that has been seperated from its mom too early. One MONTH is a good age to be seperated.
There is a very simple way to tell if a bunny is happy with the care you are giving him and it's kinda funny.
And it is like so simple to understand!! The bunny will run and jump really high and kick his legs out. kinda like a happy dance. My bunny does it often and another one that belongs to my friend also happy dances!!
