Goodbye
Well, I never saw it coming.
I should've started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I'd doubt you,
I'm better off without you
More than you, more than you know.
I'm slowly getting closure.
I guess it's really over.
I'm finally getting better.
And now I'm picking up the pieces.
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through,
I got over you.
Hi everybody; I'm sure when you came to check on my site you weren't...well expecting a big closed sign blocking your way right? Truth be told I'm getting frustrated running a site. Believe it or not I can't run my site anymore. Why not? I've realized there is a lot more to life than sitting in my chair and editing my site. And it was about time. I can't let my site eat up my life and ruin it. I've missed out on a lot of things in my life that could have changed it for the better or worse. I've had no time to write or try to develop any skill I've been working on because of my website. Because; I've spent a lot of my time on this site but all it's been doing is causing me stress.
All I ever wanted with HG is to have some of my stuff recognized, be noticed and have some fun with my online friends. But all that's really getting old. All I see know is a dark road that's only going to get darker as I keep on going down it. So I'm stopping.
Now to avoid the many questions like; "What made you close?", I'll answer it now. Dewfeather and I had a long talk about this and decided what was best for us and our sites. And if you think Dew manipulated me into closing you are 100% wrong. Alright? Dew and I are best friends and we've seriously been thinking about closing our sites for a while. We just didn't really think of it hard until yesterday.
I just decided to leave this explanation here for you, because I think it'd be best for you to dwell over my next few sentences for a while. Web designing and graphic making is not everything there is to life. There are a lot more fun things out there that you should explore outside of the computer.
I know not all of you update every, single day but I know a lot of you check your site and a lot of you graphic makers make graphics everyday. But here's a question I'm asking you. Where do you see yourself in 10, even 20 years? Being successful or still into your site for the younger crowd? You don't have to answer that in my chatbox; just something that you can ask yourself privately.
And no; I'm not trying to convince you to stop graphic making, closing your site, or stop going on your computer at all. I've just been thinking a lot of the time I've spent making graphics, when instead I could have been doing something I really love; like writing.
I wholly appreciate the support my friends and fans have given to me over the last months. And I am extremely grateful that some of my chatting buddies have listened to me-and last but not least; I'm fully, and totally grateful for anyone who has posted a kind comment in my guestbook or chatbox. I hope all my affiliates keep my linkback up, as I have done below, and would appreciate your understanding of my closing the site. Feel free to still look around the site; just don't expect me to update.
And just to let you know, I will be around and still will moderate my chatbox for any comments given that are outside of the rules. Also I will know if any coding or graphics have been stolen, I'm not leaving the internet, I'm just leaving my site for a better life; at least that's what I hope it'll be. Thank you for your time if you've read this and I hope you have a wonderful summer.
