Get Your Money Back - The 'Herbalife Buy Back'

A lot of people are unaware of this, but Herbalife does have a money back system if you resign from Herbalife.

Why many people are unsure about this ‘Buy Back’ I’m not too sure. I think that a lot of Sponsors don’t want to tell their failing Distributors, because if you never find out, they make their money – the Human Greed side again! However, if you take a look in the book called ‘The Marketing Plan’, you will find in the Terms and Conditions about resigning, and about the ‘Herbalife Buy Back.’

This article has been created to try and help explain the steps that you need in order to get your money back. Please Note; you will get no more than 90% of your money back, as Herbalife takes off 10% for a “Handling Fee.”

The following steps are what you will need to do in order to get your money back from Herbalife. Please email me if you need help with any of these steps.

Step 1:
Don’t tell your sponsor, or go to them to ask for help about getting your money back. When I resigned from Herbalife, every time I tried to talk to my sponsor about it, all he would do is try to convince me to stay on with Herbalife. The easiest way to get your money back is to go to your nearest Herbalife branch. For some, it may mean long distance phone calls, or expensive shipping costs to return the goods. You can find your nearest Herbalife branch by looking in one of your books that came with your ‘International Business Pack.’ In some countries, it is called “The Marketing Plan”, in other countries something different.

Step 2:
The next step is to get all your products together. Herbalife only takes back products that are unopened and in a “sellable condition.” This also means that they don’t take them back if they are past there used-by-date.

Step 3:
Once you have collected all the products, you need to write a letter of resignation to Herbalife. This letter could be similar to the following:

I [your name]
Hereby resign from Herbalife on [the day and date]
I have been a distributor since [the day you signed up]
Yours Sincerely
[Your Signature]
[Your Name]

Step 4:
You then need to get this letter signed by someone in the ‘Justice of Peace.’ Don’t ask me why, it’s just a funny Herbalife rule. You will need to go down to your local police station, or lawyer to get this done.

Step 5:
All right, almost there. Now it’s just a matter of collecting the products, and taking them down to your local Herbalife Branch. If you live a long way away from your nearest branch, give them a call, and arrange to post the products to them. Remember to bring / send your documents such as the information containing your Herbalife Sign Up forms. Bring all the Herbalife stuff you can get, such a spare I.B.P’s, and videos; they take these back as well. They also give you a refund on you I.B.P if you haven’t been a Distributor for 3 months.

Step 6:
Once you are at the Herbalife Branch, the rest will be taken care off. Now it’s just a matter of sitting at home and waiting for the cheque to arrive. You may lose some money but to get 90% back sure is a lot more satisfying that losing all of your cash!
