We are the Heplers ...

We searched long and hard for our small herd of Dexters.
We had several criteria that had to  be met; as we would settle for nothing less .
We returned 1 cow that met all of criteria except disposition; as she would not work with what we wanted. Our criteria for the perfect Irish Dexter Cattle were, and are as follows:

1-Disposition we wanted  pet type  dispositions in all our Dexters (kind and gentle)...
2-Conformation we wouldn't settle for less than excellant conformation       3-Show quality  all of our animals have won in the show ring ,or ADCA video show....
4-Size we wanted small; as that was what we liked about the Dexter in the 1st place...
5-Dehorned or Polled (though the Dexters horns are lovely we didn't want the risk of injury ).....
