Hinzei is a comic started quite some time ago. It is about a creature I created, meant to be my fursona, but I wanted to write some kind of story about her.

Story of Hinzei
A young orphaned dragon is raised by a family of beautiful gryphon
creatures oblivious to whats been happening to the island in which she,
and a plethora of other exotic creatures reside.
Her home is a recently discovered island that spans for many
kilometers, most of it completely covered by gargantuan pine trees.
Humans have settled onto its coastlines and have set up bases in which
they conduct unknown research on the island's inhabitants.
Its when these humans tread further into the island and capture the
dragon's foster brother that she sets out on an epic journey to get him
back.
On this journey she learns the truth of her origin, and the secrets behind the humans' research.

Characters
Hinzei
 Hinzei is a northern breed of dragon raised by a family of Gryphons. She is young, but resourceful and strong willed. Shes also very experienced in fighting, and will never miss out on a good fight.
Sorven
 Sorven is a large breed of forest Gryphon that serves as a foster brother for Hinzei, he was a few months old when his parents plopped the newborn dragon down in front of him. Growing up, he was the one that taught her everything she knew. He has a very gentle, and non violent nature, and would rather avoid dangerous conflicts.
Grym
 Grym is a very rare specie of armored dragon that spends most of its time in dark places, like caves, or in the trunks of gigantic pine trees. He is extremely strong, with a good defense to boot. If theres danger
he lowers himself to the ground, relying on the armor on his back. He also has a noble personality, and a good sense of justice, just like a Knight.
Lou-023
 A very quiet, gentle creature, Lou-023 is an experimental "smart" creature. She had human thoughts and memories downloaded into her brain and because of that she has a very unstable personality. After she is let loose by a kind scientist she desperately seeks companionship with other creatures. When she finds Hinzei, she follows her like a duckling and never strays too far from her.
Gerul
 An elderly forest dragon, loner by nature, finds companionship in the company of Hinzei. It is mostly because he pities her and her struggle. He is wise, strong, and rather sarcastic at times, but becomes a great companion.
Rex
 A loud, rambunctious, dragon with a slight anger problem. He does however show kindness toward Hinzei and Lou. He suffers from a slight amnesia, which is why he can't remember his real name. Memories of his slaughtered tribe still haunt him in his dreams, and memories do come back to him little by little.
Naydeen
 A creature once used in cross breeding experiments because of her beauty. She has a very cocky, and self absorbed personality, and likes to argue. However, she is strong willed, and very tenacious. But because of her pregnancy, she is a very voracious eater and that tends to annoy her companions greatly.
Zombei
 An experimental creature that is somehow able to survive half decomposed. He was horribly mutilated by experiments and was set loose as a joke by the soldiers on the island. He stalks Hinzei for unknown reasons, and is the last remaining specimen of his specie.
Minion-048
 Minion was part of the same series of experiments as Lou, and had the memories of a serial killer put into him. He is very cunning, and malicious. Once he escaped, he began to stalk Lou for mysterious reasons.
Adam-04
 Adam was born unusually large for his family and because of his cocky and malicious attitude, he kills his own parents and siblings for fun. When he is captured, he is used in the crossbreeding experiments. He is intelligent enough to know that if he didn't participate, he would be killed, thus he is paired with Naydeen. When they escape, he stalks Naydeen in hopes to kill her and his unborn pups, he deems her unworthy to bear his young. He is feared by all who comes across him because of his large size and ferocious nature.
