Update!

September 27, 2008

Hey there folks! Here’s the latest on events and developments:

There’ll be another book signing at Twin Rivers mall in New Bern, NC on October 4, between 12:30-3:30. I’ll be featuring my poetry volume “Oversoul of Humanity.”

I’m excited about collaborating with Waldenbooks. They’ve been truly supportive in my endeavors.

Also, I’ve assigned the K-Raven group of Spain to assist with the art work of the Vohl stories. They will be doing the exclusive cover and inner art for the Shadow Dragon double blade edition due out later this fall. I’ll be adding their art to this site as a preview of what to expect.  Gabrielle Bremmen of Germany has done a wonderful CG render of Vohl. While my character is of a time in the far flung past, she’s managed to create a very futuristic look for him. I’m very impressed with her talents!

Feel free to take a look at the images, stay tuned as events develop, and remember to keep on dreaming!

Hello all of you adHOCers! Thanks for all of your support and patience. Life’s been really great as well as busy. I’ve had two book signings: one in Kinston, the other in New Bern, NC. I’ve completed my two novellas of heroic fantasy. They’re online and in the final stages before publishing. Special thanks go out to Brian Mommsen and Lucy & Leo Valerian for their efforts. I’d also like to thank Isabel Fernandez and the K Raven group for their wonderful art work. Ariana Baer, deserves the gold medal for her Art as well as her guidance in publishing. She’s certainly one barbarian babe!

I have three book signing appearances for “Oversoul of Humanity” scheduled in Chesapeake Va. If you’re in the area be sure to drop in at Waldenbooks on November 29th or December 6th. Those are my engagement dates. That’s all for now folks. Stay tuned and remember to keep on dreaming!

 Update!

There's been an overwhelming response by artists with an interest in contributing works to my next book! Now I know that times are hard economically. So I’ve put together some editions of my fantasy stories. First, I’ll publish two separate Vohljiang stories; “The Heart of Alía”, and “A Call to Prayer.” Both will be in paperback and more economical.

If you’re a collector though, you won’t want to miss out on the Double Bladed edition. It contains both stories along with illustrations and bios on each contributing artist. Some of them have very trying circumstances and if you purchase this edition, we can funnel some cash their way.

The Heart of Alía debuts Vohljiang of Danduiae as he’s hired to train a Gaelic clan who have descended into complacency. Sold to the assassin’s guild after passing the rite of manhood, Vohl struggles between his commitment to the celibacy tenets of the Guild and sudden memories of his Chopegámi, his tutor in the art of love. Meanwhile, dark forces threaten to conquer the untrained clans-folk. And a little girl melts his heart.

In A Call to Prayer, Vohl is hired to eliminate the prophet Yienuk, but our hero soon finds himself trapped between warring religious factions. The High Priest of Taúz hides dark secrets, and what passes for holiness is revealed to be abominations from realms ethereal. Vohl must choose between duty and the protection of his stepdaughter. You’ll find your heart racing at the mind-blowing conclusion.

Keep on the watch for these two fantasy suspense thrillers coming soon!

New story!!!!

May 24, 2007

Hey there all you HOCers!

I have a new story about to be publlished. It's  a story that I've have in my head for a long long time.

Vohljiang of Danduiae is a character I developed long ago when enamoured of the works of Robert E. Howard.

My character is one of those Sword & Sorcery types that were popular a while back. There's a saga in the works and the first tale will be published by Dan Olnarick's fine webzine http://www.scribaltales.com sometime this month. When it's up, I'll post a link to it.

Be well, and keep dreaming, then make it happen!

Blessings,

HOC

My First Book Signing!

Hey there folks! I've been so busy that I've neglected to post a most important event.

On June 21st, at Vernon Park Mall in Kinston, NC, I'll be doing my first book signing for "Oversoul of Humanity."

I can't tell you how excited I am about this little milestone. While it will be a limited signing, with only a few books available, anyone may place an order for it through my sponser, The Book Depot Book Store. My deepest thanks goes to Ms. Debra Schreckengost, owner of The Book Depot. And if you have time between the hours of 1 & 3 pm, stop by and say hello. And of course, buy the book.

Be well, and keep dreaming, then make it happen!

Blessings,
