Objectives

    The purpose of the YSA is to promote Yemeni and Yemeni-American heritage as well as assist students new to the HFCC campus. We wish to unite students and other organizations with an interest in Yemen and seek to be the voice of all Yemeni students on campus. The YSA encourages people from outside to attend HFCC by assisting new coming students settle into HFCC. The YSA is to maintain Yemeni and American unity and identity within a college environment and to appreciate and recognize the cultural aspects of both the nation of Yemen and America. 

Summary of objectives

  1.  Hold cultural events and lectures that would educate and inform us and others of the Yemeni culture and other wonderful cultures.
  2. Provide support to students attending Henry Ford Community College.
  3. Help our community and college in all possible ways.
  4. Encourage people from outside to attend school and help them get enrolled.
  5. Get all other organizations together in one event.
