We run a ex-battery hen rescue, known as "free at last", in the Bedfordshire area, although we will happily home elsewhere if homes transport can be arranged.
It all started in Summer 2004 when we re-homed just a dozen hens & since then the current total is 2145 hens!

In the last 10 years we have homed many animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, g.pigs, ferrets, pure-breed chickens, finches, cockateils, lovebirds, quails, rats, mice, hamsters, degus, various fish & even a terrapin!
If we cant take it in or find it a home we probably know a man who can! We have various contacts within the animal rescue world, each one specialising in a particular breed of animal.
We are also happy to offer advice on the care of animals & again if we cant answer your question, we will try to direct you to someone else that can help.
