The greatest thing about this group is that we have given word of
encouragement to each other. You might not know who is being touched
and learning from your messages.

based on how we will all be judged by GOD. I felt a burden as the
preacher said we will all be rewarded according to our deeds. I just
don't want to go to heaven, I also want to be rewarded. So am going
to do more for God, The fellowship that we all have right now is
needed. Yes needed, because we encourage each other, advice each
other and through our words we bless each other.

I too enjoy this site very much. The people here seem to be more open and friendly than most other groups. I plan to stay a part of this group for as long as the group will have me. I agree with you about the denomination thing, as God is not a denomination. The church I attend is not a denominational church, but it is a Bible believing church and wants to move forward in God and led by His Spirit. God's ways are not our ways and He does look to the heart of people rather than their outward appearance or the deeds they do. I agree again that faith is powerful. The prayer of the righteous man, and woman, are powerful and effective. And it is up to the individual what they choose to believe in, and we should respect that fact, even if we don't agree with what others believe. But I do disagree where you said, and quoted from a film, that it is not important where our faith is, as long as we have faith. It is important what we put our faith in. And I do know that the God I believe in is very much real and when I take my last breath I know I will be with Him forever. How do I know my God is real? I've seen, first hand, of what He can do. I have seen the lame walk again, the blind see, the deaf hear, various illnesses healed. I've seen the impossible made possible. All in the Name of Jesus. He has given me peace where there was once anger and hatred. He has shown me the love of a real Father. I've seen situations being completely turned around. So I know my God is real. Even if I hadn't have seen and experienced these things, I'd still know. Have you ever met someone or been somewhere where you just know? That's how I know that my God is real. His love is unsurpassible and He does love us. He might not like what we do at times, but He still loves us. He is all forgiving when we tell Him we're sorry and mean it. Jesus is the only way to God, all other paths will lead to destruction. We will all see Jesus one day, and I know I'll be with Him for all eternity when I personally see Him face to face. The world will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, just as the waters cover the sea, and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I choose to do so now, as if I didn't, and I drew my final breath, it will be too late. But saying what I say, I would never dream of putting anyone down because they believe in something different than me. I was once in a place so very far away from where I am now and the things I chose to believe in was so different from what I believe now. I know what it can be like without God in my life. But now I know what it is like with God in my life, and I can tell you, it's the best decision I have ever made. And I would reccommend Jesus to everyone, as He is the Best and there is no comparason whatsoever. Nothing even gets close! Jesus is my Lord and Saviour and I love Him. And I will always say so

I have very much enjoyed being a part of this group and hope to
continue to do so. I have been very thankful to each and everyone who
has taken the time to respond to my work. And am appreciative of the
poeple who have taken the time to read my work. Although I am an
Episcopal, I have my own personal beliefs shaped by events in my life
about God and everything to do with him. For those of you who have
watched Dogma, (the movie with Matt Damon and Ben Afflec, etc.)there
is a quote that has stuck with me for a time now. It's said by Selma
Hyack's character a muse. She says "It's not about who's right or
wrong, no denomination has hit it over the head yet because their to
righteous to realize that it doesn't matter what you have faith in as
long as you have faith". I love that quote and think it is important.
Faith is a strong and powerful thing. But it should not be used to
persecute and dissmiss others. We all have our own beliefs and quite
frankly we're not gonna know who was right and who was wrong until
the day comes that our heartbeat ceases in our chest. We should love
each other regardless of what they believe or don't believe. My God
would not want that. My God loves people regardless of what we
believe. He wants us to never settle into the same pattern of belief
he wants us to grow and learn from each other. I'm sorry this is so
long but this is just a little part of what I believe and wanted to
share it with all of you.
