Help Needed - Bills

We are $40,000.00 in debt due to our illness ,and the bills we had before this all started

Anyone that in on Tricare/Champus will tell you it is not worth much. Most doctors do not want to take it, because they have to take a large loss on all of their bills. My insurance pays what ever they think that the work the doctor does is worth,and we pay 25 percent. With bills from specialists, this 25% can and does get into the thousands. In many cases the doctors that we need will not take our insurance at all, so we have to pay the whole bill, and some doctors will take it if we pay our 25% and their loss, so the insurance has little to pay. So I hope that you can see how the doctor bills got so high. Only a very few doctors can work on my husband.
